Tomorrow will be 2 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center . . .

That horrific day that shattered the lives of so many and burned impressions in our minds that none of us will ever forget.

Each and everyone of us can sit back and remember exactly what we were doing that morning as havoc broke loose in the Big Apple, the Pentagon and out in Pennsylvania.

This past Saturday I took my coffee and went for a walk down along the shore.

I stood there on the shoreline gazing across to where the Twin Towers once stood.

My eyes were fixated on the gaping hole in the skyline . . .

An empty spot where the World Trade Center used to be.

I thought of the lives that were lost on that fateful day and recalled standing on the very same spot watching the smoke billowing from what remained of the buildings that day and for days after that . . .

I thought of the emptiness felt by those who lost friends and loved ones on that day . . .

And I prayed asking the Good Lord to comfort those who have experienced that emptiness.

Then I thought of the emptiness in the lives of the unbelievers . . .

The emptiness they have not knowing the Lord . . .

And I prayed for those lost souls, asking the Lord to reach out and fill the void in their lives so that they may be redeemed as well.

Just a thought and a prayer over coffee!

Oklahoma Howdy to Durango,

Thank you for your moving remembrance of September 11, 2001. I can't imagine what the emotions would have been like to be there. I can tell you that the emotions were strong great distances away.

I think that a little bit of all of us died that day. We were reminded how precious God's love and comfort is during a time of great need. Many were also reminded to turn to God for strength and courage to continue on. There was a massive revival of God's children and many gave their hearts to HIM.

Thanks Brother.

In Christ,
Tom
