I spent a couple of hours working in my back yard this evening (a long time for this boy!).  My two Boxers had an unaccustomed lengthy period to romp.  Their tongues are on the floor . . . literally!

Watching them reminded me of a quote I often use, and forgive me -- I've forgotten the source:

Dogs are the only creatures on earth who love us more than they love themselves.

 (I believe the author intended humans to be included in the "creature" group  Wink).

I guess "creature" would fit. It is after all derived from the word created.   Grin Grin Grin

Unfortunately the author is right in most cases.
