I can't tell you how I'd appreciate prayer for my daughter, who's graduating from high school here in Ohio this weekend.  Although she's only 17, I've never met anyone stronger, braver or who possesses stouter spiritual and moral fiber than my kid.  If that sounds like a prejudiced daddy, what'd you expect?  She'll be entering journalism school in the fall, and I would like prayer not only for her safety and growth, but for my ability to finance the project.  'Cuz right now, I'm uncertain of where the money will come from!

SSV, congrtulations it sounds to me as though you have done a great job raising your daughter. You have every right to be proud of her, and yourself as well. It isn't easy raising children these days.

I will be praying for her to continue her great work, and for you to be able to finance her education. God will supply all your needs, that is His promise.  Cheesy

Php 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Blessings to you and your daughter.

Your friend and sister in Christ,
Maria

SSV,
What an exciting time for both you and your daughter.  I pray she will touch the lives of many, be it by her tongue, her actions or her pen (or laptop for nowadays purposes).  You both will be in my prayers!
Your brother in Christ,
-Am-

Grin A sincere thanks to everyone who's ready this post and prayed for my daughter.  Commencement was yesterday (Sunday, 6/4), a beautiful ceremony, and my kiddo graduated with honors.  If I may go a little further -- the post-graduation party was a bit sticky for me, since my child's mother is my ex-wife (and her family is large and rather grudge-holding).  But my daughter was happy, and I was reunited with friends I haven't seen in over 8 years.  We exchanged numbers and addresses and I'm calling them today to find a time to get together!

There just aren't any coincidences in this short life, are there?
