* Candy cigarettes.

* Wax coke-shaped bottles with colored sugar water inside.

* Soda pop machines that dispensed glass bottles.

* Coffee shops with table side juke boxes.

* Home milk delivery in glass bottles, with cardboard stoppers.

* Party lines on your telephone.

* P. F. Flyers

* Pea shooters.

* 45 RPM Records

* Green Stamps

* Metal ice cube trays-with levers

* Mimeograph paper and the smell of that purple ink?

* Blue flash Bulbs

* Beanie and Cecil

* Roller skate keys

* Cork pop guns

* Drive ins

* The Fuller Brush man

* Reel-to-reel tape recorders

* Tinker toys

* The Erector Set

* Lincoln Logs (they still sell these)

* 15 cent McDonald hamburgers

* 5 cent packs of baseball cards

* Penny candy

* 35 cent-a-gallon gasoline

DW, I remember all of those but as I recall gasoline was 25 cents a gallon
I also remember the ice cream shops where you could sit on the stools at the counter.

Soda pop machines that dispensed glass bottles.  or Especially the machines that looked like a freezer and could be opened with insertin cash into them first.


45 RPM Records or 78 records that were a 1/4 inch thick.


Metal ice cube trays-with levers or metal ice cube trays before the levers


Blue flash Bulbs or the flash that had powder on a tray separate from the camera


Beanie and Cecil  or the first Captain Kangaroo


15 cent McDonald hamburgers or when there was no McDonalds yet.


35 cent-a-gallon gasoline or 15 cent-a-gallon gasoline
