Hi HisJoy,

It's great to see you posting here.

You made an excellent point. Do those things that we do effect our witness and prevent that witness from being effective? Does our actions cause baby Christians to stumble? This is something that we must consider in all that we do or say.

About two years ago I felt the need to go to a different church temporarily.  After the service I was the first one at the "coffee hour".  As I was getting my refreshment, I spotted an empty sofa and decided I would sit there.  After getting my cookies, I headed for the sofa and noticed that a young couple and their son were now sitting there.  I sat with them and after just a couple of minutes, the husband told me that he was Jewish and that he and his wife (Gentile) were visiting this Baptist church in order to try to save their marriage.

He also said that they had already "tried" going to the temple but he had tatoos and they were forbidden by Judaism.  I told him that I had done some volunteer ministry to Jewish people and explained the Messianic prophecies and about Christ being our Savior/Messiah to him.  He was very happy to hear that he was accepted (tatoos and all)....and they were going to start Sunday School the following Sunday.  Smiley
