There are so many different ideas out there how do we know if this is correct or just someones idea?  for example:

I know that many catholic people get very offended/defensive with things like this and many times it seems to me that the people who were killed for not being catholic are made small.... like they died for nothing.... I don't think that we know the whole story.  anyway, if anyone catholic or protastant could give me their thoughts on this that would be great!

As with anything that speaks of the Bible and God rely on the Bible before you do anything written by any other. If that "history" is not compatible with the Bible then do not trust any of it but turn back to the Bible.

I would simply say that God's Will for the work that He wants done today is much more important.

You can't change the past, but many people WILL die in their sins today without JESUS. AND, the same is true every day.

Love In Christ,
Tom

I am neither catholic or protestant, but a Christian only. I would advise that Christ's church as described and identified in the Bible would be the church of God and not necessarily those told of in man's history or those propagating religion today with personal agendas not of God or His word. Test the spirits if they be of God. That is done by comparing their word with God's and going with God's. The Bible.
