ENERGIZER BUNNY FOUND DEAD!!

Today, the world was stunned by the news of the death of the Energizer
Bunny.  He was six years old.  Authorities believe that the death
occurred approximately 8:42 last evening.

Best known as the irritating pink bunny that kept going, and going, and
going, "Pinkie", as he was known to his family and friends, was alone
at the time of his death. An emergency autopsy was performed early this
morning.

Chief Medical Examiner, Dura Cell, concluded that his cause of death
was acute cardiac arrest, induced by over charging.
Apparently, someone had put the bunny's batteries in backwards and he
just kept on going, and going, and going........

Pending Memorial services will be held at "Rayovac Hall," and a special
Memorial music will be conducted by the "Panasonic Symphony," a large
representation by the lighting industry will be expected.

A special Eulogy by the famous Dr. Alkaline Polaroid will be held.

Geico Gecko Dead; Energizer Bunny Search Intensifys

SOUTHWEST OF THE BORDER -- The Geico Gecko was found murder in his home late last night. He leaves behind his living relatives, a substantial insect collection, and some chicken wire. The Gecko was only 42.

Authorities would not release specifics of the Gecko's death citing the on-going investigation. Certain details, such as the cause of death and the condition of the body, are routinely held back in homicide cases so that the police can verify confessions. For now the world will have to wonder about type of rope used in the noose, the color of the blindfold, and the location of the Gecko's clothes.

Rabbit paw-prints and the initials "E. B." were found at the scene leading the police to believe that the Energizer Bunny was involved. The Bunny is the main suspect in the earlier death of the Taco Bell Dog. The Bunny is still at large and this new death has cause the bunny-hunt to be strengthened. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of the Bunny is asked to call their local police department. Anonymity is guaranteed; however, blood samples and dental impressions are required.
