A SECOND AMEN!! I am enjoying this thread. I'm hoping to join in soon. I'm still experimenting with ways to get around the problem with my eyes, and I'm making some progress. Love In Christ, Tom 1 Thessalonians 5:8-10 NASB But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him.

The Bible disagrees sister.
The bat (singular) is mentioned in both Leviticus and in Deuteronomy as being Fowl not mammal. Scientists, especially those supporting evolution, classify living things differently than does God. God says that bats are fowl:
Lev 11:13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, Lev 11:14 And the vulture, and the kite after his kind; Lev 11:15 Every raven after his kind; Lev 11:16 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind, Lev 11:17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl, Lev 11:18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle, Lev 11:19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
WOW I didn't know that the Bible classifies them as fowl. God is awesome I always thought they were mammals.

I think it's a great way to learn more scriptures and learn more about the Bible. It also whets the appetite of those who don't read thr Bible often. I think a lot of our guests might enjoy it too.

Which bird was given to the children of Israel in the wilderness for food?
Nu 11:31 ¶ And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.

You got it part right Miriam was Aaron's sister and it was Miriam and Aaron that spoke against Moses because of his Ethiopian wife. Num 12:1 And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

I knew it was because of Moses' wife, I couldn't remember if she was Ehtiopian or Midianite.

Who is the only person recorded as paying his fare?
Jon 1:3 But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.

Which king sent his cupbearer on a mission to a distant land?
2Ki 19:4 It may be the LORD thy God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that are left. 2Ki 19:5 So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah. 2Ki 19:6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 2Ki 19:7 Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land. 2Ki 19:8 So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.
