(A little late...)

Prayer for Courtney's (jcgettig's) broken family, for Early57, Candice Cavelier's battle with smoking, for Dee10's dad who may have cancer, for Facedown's friend who has been turned out of his home, DovesWings' sister...others...

Praise that Felix101 got past the calculus test...I sure couldn't've done it...

Lord, have Your will in the lives of these people; thanks for bringing them to this forum.

Wanted to revive this thread.  Wink  Prayer is a powerful tool. "The prayer from a righteous man is very effective" Does anyone know where that's at in the bible? Huh

Oklahoma Howdy to Felix102,

Thanks Brother. I appreciate your effort here. I'm not sure what specific Scripture you may be talking about, but there are many Scriptures that speak of the power of prayer.

I'm convinced that I'm alive because of the power of prayer. I prayed and asked God to let me live long enough to finish raising my children, and I'm still here enjoying my grandchildren.

Dear Heavenly Father, we give thanks that everything works together for good for those who love you. Above all, we give thanks for the gift of your Son on the Cross. Our joy is knowing that Jesus walks with us in our daily lives. We pray for our brothers and sisters who are  ill or have other needs in their families. We ask that you give them peace and health if it is Your Will. Jesus, we ask for wisdom in seeking your will and following a path that would be most pleasing to you. We ask for guidance in serving you and helping the lost. We ask these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.   Amen
