Now I want to know:
Why when I reach for that bottom shelf, marked "L-XL", for an "XL" I always pull out a "small"?
See Tom's Short People's Revenge theory. It holds far more weight than one might think...

LOL! I shoulda known, Shylynne. I wonder, though. Who was your 'good authority'? If it was Little Bo Peep, I wouldn't trust her. She can't even handle her own sheep; she keeps losing them!
Contrary to popular belief, Little Bo Peep is not accredited here with said rumor. That goes to Jack Sprat, who not only could eat not fat, but could rarely tell the truth.

I am truly hurt by sincereheart's degredation of short people. Bigotry at it's worst. As a short person, while I sympathize with Brother Tom's desire to meet them eye for eye, will not succumb to such behavior. I am better than they are. And so are you Brother Tom. Don't charge. Just shoot em where they stand. hehehee

A 6'2" Paul2 here, I can relate... How many times have we heard "Hey, your tall, could you get that off the top shelf for me?" Imagine us going up to someone and saying "Hey, your short, could you get that off the bottom shelf for me?" Paul2 Yes. Perhaps it isn't discrimination against my stature; it may just be descrimination against my youth. ("Your knees are better than mine. You've got a young back.") But I am asked to fetch things from lower shelves... Oh wait...people ask me to get tall-shelf stuff, too. That's right, I forgot. No one's making fun of my height - they just want me to do all the work...*sigh*
