Tibby,

 Grin   Grin

You're killin' me. I want to watch you put the robe and hat on Mr. T. In fact, can we sell tickets to the event?

I want a ticket, as well.

Here's what I consider a good wrap-up concerning the new pope, where he stands and his opposition.

The old saying "...judge a man by his enemies..." really works in this assessment:

Great site, Judgenot! It was a fun read, to say the least.

Quote
"Cardinal Ratzinger's election as pope will galvanize faithful Catholics to work even more passionately for a renewed priesthood that includes women," said Aisha Taylor, WOC's program director.

Whats this "renewed" women preisthood crap about? Angry Someone has been beening the Daveci code when they should have read their bibles, I think... Roll Eyes

Quote
"In the past, he has made deeply disturbing comments regarding gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people so his selection as the 265th pope is distressing. It's imperative that there be a positive conversation with the Catholic Church about GLBT people of faith and we welcome that discourse."

Coming from people who find member of the say (and is some case, BOTH) gender to be sexaully attractive, I guess they know more about what is "deeply disturbing" then the rest of us, uh? Roll Eyes

The Rev. Troy D. Perry, a homosexual activist and moderator of the Metropolitan Community Churches, expressed a "deep sadness that one of the world's most homophobic religious leaders has been elevated to the papacy, and regret that his policies will continue to devalue the rich spiritual gifts of LGBT people and women of faith.

Devalue? Sodomites attacking the Pope's values? pffft Roll Eyes

Quote
"My faith teaches that all people can change..."

Hey, look I agree with this guy on something Grin
