Is that not when the slow progress of fogeyism starts to set in? Then that cool begins it's departure? Fogeyism,, ROFL.<---- hysterical!! ahh t'is a sad day when a person enters the fogeyism state of mind! I have to say humor keeps that at bay for me.. my body might be entering the downhill slide to IT but i refuse to let my mind go to, (albeit some would say "what mind )hehe sooo Ollie me thinks you should be awarded the "word of the week" award : FOGEYISM Tigerlily

7-6-88 (can you feel over the hill at 15?) 04-18-98 too Fabulous idea! PS-I'll try and keep quiet on the old folk jokes, but just in case some of you like to gum your mac-and-cheese, 3 pm is happy hour at lubys, you can be home in time to watch 60 minutes (JUST KIDDING i love you all!) (or jepordy for the more excited old folk...don't forget the Ensure )

Oklahoma Howdy to PeachKeen, We don't have a Luby's here. My wife and I go to Sam's when we are feeling particularly adventurous. We usually take reversible clothing so that we can change our appearance quickly. We go around and around the food section where they give out the free samples of various foods they are trying to sell. It's a really good night when they have a desert sample to top everything off. Then we really act cool, cruise the hardware section of the store, and go home. Now, is this cool or what!? When the samples at Sam's are a little bit light, we stop at Atwood's on the way home and have all the popcorn you can eat while you shop. You know that I'm kidding, or do you? Love In Christ, Tom

When we go "out on the town" we hit Costco for the main entre's (plus - if we feel like really being spendy, the Costco hotdog stand has big dogs for 99 cents!) then we hit Safeway and Alberton's for "desert samples". A stop at the Dairy Queen for a soft cone (the most money we spend all night) is the perfect 'nightcap'. We may be old, but we ain't fogies! He-he-he

JudgeNot, I hope some of these kids are taking notes. We've told them how to creatively eat for almost nothing. KristiAnn, It's a small world. You share the same birthday as my son. Love In Christ, Tom

You know that I'm kidding, or do you? Are you sure? 'Cause we do the same thing. Our Sam's has great samples, especially on Saturday. There is also a Family Fare that has some good pickin's...sometimes D&W Foodmarket is good, but they've gotten skimpy over the past few years.
