I would agree with you on the folks you mentioned and many many more who are on TBN,and other so called Christian TV stations.Just a Quick verse in matthew 7;1&2 Do not judge lest you be judge. For in the way that you judge you will be judged:and by the  standard of measure ,it will be measured to you.(NASB)
I believe this verse and others are telling us not to judge others because more than likely we may not beable to stand up to are own scrutiny.
so with that said I would try and refrain from judging the speakers, and verify what is being taught with Gods word .Anyone who takes a look and lets the Spirit lead them and not what some man says on TV will see how much false teaching there is coming from these guys.
I have a book called Christianity In Crisis it documents the teachings of most of the false teachings on TBN it also has audio of some of the speakers spuing out the teaching..There are teaching on that TV station of Christ going to hell and being punished  bound in chains and wiped for our sin. but yet on the cross he said "IT IS FINISHED"witch is a accounting term that MEANS PAID IN FULL.so if it was paid at the cross then being tortured in hell was not needed.and makes Christ a lier.
or how about a god head that is 9 instead of 3.the basic teaching is this ,God the father is a triune being God the son is triune and God the spirit is triune.that makes 9. I'm not against spreading Gods plane of salvation over the airwaves but it sure would be nice to be able to have solid teachings being taught according to the Word instead of warm and fuzzy according to man.

I moved from a multi cultural area in central Calif to a  area in Nebraska ,that when I see someone of a diffrent  culture going to church or on the job I make a special effort to talk to them .one to make them feel comfortable and two because I miss talking to other cultured people.and three even If they( meaning most of the people this area ) wont admit it they are racist to the existent that they haven't had a multicultural experience before.

Its a problem that seems to be growing .and why I don, 't really know ,but to be a user friendly church.
1John 1:8-2:2
v8 If we say that we have no sin,we are deceiving our selves ,and theTRUTH is not in us.

If a specific topic such as sin didn't need to be taught in church then we wouldn't have verses like this .
I'm far from perfect and I'm glad I have a Advocate with the Father for me.I do not agree with all doctrines taught by various denominations but how could you not teach that we are sinners and feel people will have a personnel relationship with Christ .For if there is not sin then Christ didn't need to die.
teach GODS word to its fullest and see the results that can come.I don't care much for user friendly churches

I'm a electrical contractor ,just started my business 10 months ago.
ask that you pray that I keep searching for Gods guidance in running the company and that trust in Him to so me His will .for me ,my family and those around me that I have a influence on.
As Gods word states" He who began a good work in you is faithfull to complete it "
And I truly thank God for that.

We can all make misjudgements at times .I'm fairly opinionated and have a tendicy to speak be for I think when I feel strongly about a topic.
Just thought I would tell you that .

There is evil allover the place and as Christians we should be or at least in my life this is what I try to do Is prepair for the days battle by reading Gods word and prayer.In Matthew 12 : 30 says " He who is not with Me (Jesus)  is against ME ;and he who does not gather with Me scatters.[NASB}
With that verse in mind we are eather for Christ or against Him. Its a shame that people will wear items that are linked to Christianity but there actions speak loader and we as belivers pay the price .

Heb 13:5-6  Let your character be free from the love of money ,being content with what you have ;for He Himself has said "I will never leave you nor will I  forsake you so that we confidently say  The Lord is my helper,I will not be afraid. What shall a man do to me?

I've seen a lot of Sunday Christians   alot that talk the talk but the walk is reveling to there true goals.
I suppose I would like to have more than I do .I have a 1977 Suzuki motorcycle  it runs ,a 98 Explore .My own business and I use a 78 dodge for work.
I'm content with what God has provided for me to be able to do what makes me happy.

we as Christians need to learn to be content on what God gives us,instead of trying to top the Johnsons.Focus on doing Gods word and not just hearing.

I thought Hardies was Carl Jr.I'm from Calif ,then 10+ years a go moved to Neb. There are many adds that 20 years ago wouldn't fly ,with the moral and ethical erosion of America this is what we as a nation get.Many sport figures  stars  wear a cross's and yet there values would be less than Christian.I think as believers in Jesus  as our LORD AND SAVIOR we need to fervently pray for our country.

yes TBN does have a handfull of pastors that are good .The problem I see is not enough people know Gods word who watch tbn to be able to tell who teaching truth or who teaching false doctrine.
Normally when I watch tbn its to see what new doctrine did tbn come up with .
I donot recommend tbn for viewing unless your well versed in Gods word.
Some one tell me is it ok to talk of a fales doctrine and name whos teaching it?
