46  Fellowship / For Men Only / The Christian View on: September 02, 2004, 08:07:41 PM
I thought i'd be very genderated (i dunno if thats even a word) a put this topic in the 'Men Only' section.

What i was wondering what the Christian view is on proffesional wrestling.  I wrestle myself and i would imagine the depiction of violence and t&a would not conforom to a Chrstian's likings (or maybe i'm just being stereotypical). Most wrestlers are actually firm Christians, such as the person who helping me turn Christian (Nora Greenwald), also amazing quite a number of wrestlers have become evangelists (i hope thats spelt right Embarrassed)

Anywayz, What is everyone's view on wrestling?
47  Welcome / About You! / Re:Hello everyone on the forum!!! on: September 02, 2004, 07:49:47 PM
Thank you for the warm welcomes to the forum people, it is much appreciated.

Heehe yeah WWE turning someone religious must be a first, oh well at least it makes me somewhat unique.
48  Prayer / General Discussion / Re:animals having souls? on: September 02, 2004, 11:54:58 AM
That would simply be your opinion. AND, man is not an animal. Man was created by Almighty God in HIS image with body, soul, and spirit.

Science simply dipicts man as an animal.  I believe man has no right over any animal, all animals should be equal.  Man does claim to have a global power over other animals because they are the smartest animal alive, yes human being are unbelievably smart, but in other ways unbelievably stupid.  Out of all the animals on our planet the only one whats destroying the planet is human.  "Almighty God in HIS image with body, soul, and spirit" i also believe tihs to be true, whats not so good is how were repaying God then.

Anywayz thats my view on the matter, hope i haven't stood on anyones toes.
49  Entertainment / Books / Empire Falls on: September 02, 2004, 11:39:02 AM

50  Prayer / Prayer Requests / Steve Williams on: September 02, 2004, 11:36:10 AM
I dunno if this is out of place in here or not, but i am personally (i hope everyone else does to) going to be saying a prayer for Steve Williams, for those not familiar with Steve, he is a wrestler (i don't really know how people on this forum feel about proffesional wrestling, but most wrestlers tend to be very religious).  Anywayz Steve Williams was diagnosed with cancer a couple of days ago, so my thoughts and prayers are with you Steve.
51  Theology / Debate / Has your faith been challenged? on: September 02, 2004, 11:31:38 AM

Has your beliefs in Christianity ever been challenged in your life?
52  Welcome / About You! / Hello everyone on the forum!!! on: September 02, 2004, 11:24:47 AM
Hi everyone, my name is Luke O.  I'd by lying if i said i was a big christian, but over time i have felt myself becoming more inclinde to the christian way of life.  This is mainly thanks to Nora Greenwald (also known as Molly Holly in the WWE), who has been my inspiration in life.

Anywayz hope to talk to everyone soon!!!
