The book of Mark is the only account given of this person and it is quite evident that it was unknown even to Mark who this young man was. Mark does tell us that this young man was "following Jesus." We have seen throughout the gospels where people frequently followed Jesus from one place to another. This young man probably was one these people. The main point here is this young man was going to be arrested as a follower of Jesus and he ran away.

Thank you Pastor Roger, I can understand it better now.

Where did a follower of Jesus escape an angry mob by running away naked?

(Matthew, Mark, Luke)

in the Garden of Gethsemane:
I think we need to read the events leading up to this happening, which starts in Mark 14: 32 in order to find the answer
As this came about when Judas betrayed our Lord Jesus in the Garden.
(Mar 14:51 KJV)  And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him:

(Mar 14:52 KJV)  And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.

After reading some of the commentaries regarding this incident, I am a bit puzzled ; of coarse I think it does not matter who it was because the main event taking place is the beganning of Christ's arrest and passion.
Some say it may have been Mark or John, but it also mentions that he may have been the owner of the Garden itself and not one of the Disciples at all.

Would anyone care to help me understand who it may have been.

What did God do when the Israelites began to complain about the death of Korah and his followers?

(Exodus, Numbers, Amos)

I started with (Num 16:41 KJV)  But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.

If I understand this, which I am not sure of getting it right, but I'll try and say "God first appeared at the tabernacle and told Moses and Aaron to separate themsleves from the rest of the congergation and then started a plague to consume the rest of those that complained"

I believe that if I was there when God opened the earth and swallowed up Korah and his followers, I think the last thing I would do would do is complain and not think God would do the same to me.

As for the previous question:
Doesn't seem like anyone wanted to tackle this one so I'll give in and give you the answer and maybe we'll try an easier one.
The answer is:

Well, oh my goodness!  The answer is lost to this moderator because I lost my page!  Bad moderator, bad, bad, bad moderator!  I'll take 50 lashes with a wet noodle for being a noodle-head!  It was Elijah and the answer is in 1 Kings ......somewhere!  Embarrassed

I seem to be having trouble getting what I am trying to say in words. So I was actually waiting for someone else to answer it. All I can do here is ask the "Lord" to forgive me.

I found the answer in 1 Kings 19:12-13 which is Elijah: (1Ki 19:12 KJV)  And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
(1Ki 19:13 KJV)  And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?
If I got this one right too, Elijah went into hidding because he feared that Jezebel was out to kill him ?

By what river did Nebuchadnezzar defeat Pharaoh Neco of Egypt?

(Exodus, 1 Kings, Jeremiah)

the Euphrates River

(Jer 46:2 GW)  This is the message about Egypt, about the army of Pharaoh Neco, king of Egypt. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon defeated his army at Carchemish along the Euphrates River during the fourth year that Jehoiakim, son of Josiah, was king of Judah.

As Pastor Roger said:
Quote
I don't have an NLT but that's ok. Maybe it will make it more of a challenge for me
I don't have one either, but all the same this game is interesting, and it helps me to study harder, and I spend more time in THE WORD; So, I count this a blessing for me.

Hows about a letter H please

In Revelation, what is the fiery lake composed of?

Sulfur/Brimstone:

(Rev 19:20 GW)  The beast and the false prophet who had done miracles for the beast were captured. By these miracles the false prophet had deceived those who had the brand of the beast and worshiped its statue. Both of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

(Rev 19:20 KJV)  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

I have been somewhat[health wise] laid up, and just had not been on here for awhile. But,!! PRAISE THE LORD!! I can still and until the time my Saviour calls me home, I can truly and with a joyful heart, say "It is well with me Soul"

All I can say here is I have smelled burning sulfur and it is not nice, just like rotten eggs, it does. Also I have the memory and can still smell what burning flesh smells like. When I was in Viet-Nam we had an APC that took a direct hit with an incenderary RPG, all eleven died as the APC burned.
Thank you Jesus for my salvation, and I know I wont have to face or know the second death.
Amen!!!

What leader after the exile traced his ancestry back to the high priest Aaron?

(1 Samuel, Judges, Ezra)

Ezra

(Ezr 7:1 KJV)  Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,

(Ezr 7:6 KJV)  This Ezra went up from Babylon; and he was a ready scribe in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given: and the king granted him all his request, according to the hand of the LORD his God upon him.

In the time of the judges, what man was brassy enough to set up one of his sons as priest, though he had no authority to do so?

(This will of course be found in "Judges")

Micah
(Jdg 17:5 KJV)  And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.

Halah = A district of Media to which captive Israelites were transported by the Assyrian kings.

(2Ki 17:6 KJVR)  In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.

I'll go with "Caleb"   Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, occurs in the story of the spies, and along with Joshua gave the favorable report to Moses

(Num 13:30 KJV)  And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

  "D"    is nextest Cheesy
