Pastor Roger Said:

I will say it again all your points that you keep making are those of Michael Moore in his farenheit 911 garbage or the liberal media. Michael Moores "facts" are far from facts. They are made up garbage to make him more money.

Brother,

Michael Moore has inspired me to do a documentary on the tooth fairy. I'll make more money since my production will contain more facts.

LOL  .....   What I want to know is who left the door open to the LLL cage?

Hmmm ...... another excuse for sin?? "I couldn't help myself, my brain is abnormal." Kinda like the Devil made me do it.

Now I might believe that the brain abnormality is the result of those things and not the other way around.

Amen, brother.

NightDriving or Berean_Standards as I see you have changed your name to.

There were Vets that protested the Viet Nam war. They were the minority though not the majority. As I said I know these things first hand as I was there, I volunteered to go. I was in intelligence and saw much more of what went on behind the scenes than most as well as having seen things on the front line first hand. The majority of those that protested the war were not volunteers but draftees.

As for the VA not doing anything for Desert Storm Vets again you are wrong. I am one of those Vets and the VA is doing everything humanly possible to help me. I have contact with many such Desert Storm Vets daily that are in fact getting all the assistance that can possibly be given to them.

I really love it when people that have not been there try to tell someone that has that they don't know what they are talking about.

I will say it again all your points that you keep making are those of Michael Moore in his farenheit 911 garbage or the liberal media. Michael Moores "facts" are far from facts. They are made up garbage to make him more money.

58265  Prayer / Prayer Requests / Re:My brother on: November 07, 2005, 08:57:44 PM
Thank you cris. We all have missed you here. I hope that you have been doing well also.

I just talked to my brother tonight. I can't go see him because I have a bit of a virus of some sort and can't risk giving it to him. He was having a problem getting his kidneys to start working again but today they kicked in and seem to be on the uphill trend. That is to be expected though as when a person goes through open heart surgery they shut down all body functions for a period and it takes awhile for some of them to start back up.

The "Manboy Association" that you are speaking of is called NAMBLA (North American Man/Boy Love Association). It is indeed an association full of perversion.

So it's clear where I stand on this. I don't know about you guys, but if some foreign country came over here and started killing my friends and family and telling us they were going to start a government that was best for us and "spread freedom", I don't think I'd agree with that.

Then you had better start disagreeing and do it in a hurry because that is exactly what is being tried.

Nightdriving, You need to stop listening to the liberal media, start living in the daylight instead of the Night blindness. I was in Viet Nam and Desert Storm. I have many friends in Iraq and Afghanistan right now. When you say that the people of those countries don't/didn't want us there you have no idea of what you are talking about.

You are sounding like a Michael Moore parrot.

What you said in the other thread is showing to be very true .....

And I don't know much about politics,

I am beginning to wonder what your true intent here is.

And I don't know much about politics,

That is very obvious by your following comments.

I mean, anybody find those WMD's yet? Iraq was apparently about as much of a threat to us with their "terrorism" as the rice farmers in Vietnam were a threat to us with their "communism".

As for your main point .......

Anyone that looks to any man as an example of Christianity is looking in the wrong direction. I would seriously suggest though instead of telling people who or what to not look to that we should be telling them who they should be looking to  .....  Jesus Christ very God.

58269  Theology / Debate / Re:President Bush's approval rating drops to 38% on: November 07, 2005, 03:35:53 PM
I agree with you on the freemason. There is not enough known about the other one to say that for certain one way or another.

Nightdriving,

Quote
People are very naive to think Jesus just hung out with sinners all day- He hung out with his converts, and lived and worked in a world full of sinners as we all do.

Jesus did "hang out with sinners all day". After all we are all sinners. Even the Apostles were sinners. After all this was the reason that Jesus came to us. When Jesus told us to come out from among them He was telling us not live as they do, to stand out as a living witness for Him.

President Reagan was not a freemason as many would have people to believe, neither was Billy Graham though many would claim to have such proof. Many such stories are told about various leaders in an attempt to try to destroy their leadership.

These leaders are placed into position by God or they would not be there. This does not mean that we are to worship them. After all they are just men and therefore sinners just as we are. Being a man, President Bush is far from being perfect.

As for the Skull and Bones. People admit it is secret, the members of it will not talk about it, yet there are so many that claim they know everything about it and are certain that it is evil. I ask, how do they know this when they admittedly know nothing about it? They make assumtions based on a few peoples crimes that just so happened to be members. Judas was an apostle and he also commited an evil atrocity. This does not make all of the Apostles evil.

When a person joins the Military, takes a government office, becomes a police officer, becomes a Doctor or a number of other such jobs they are required to take an oath. This does not and should not put their job ahead of God. We cannot all be Preachers or Deacons or .......  We all have different jobs according to that which God chooses us to be.

If a person should not get into politics then David, Solomon, Moses and many other such men of God were wrong and it was wrong of God to put them into that position. Note I say wrong of God because Moses did not want the responsibility of being a leader and God chose him and told Him to lead them anyway. Now we all know that God is never wrong.

Hi Maura, Welcome to the forum. Yes it is nice to know that we are not alone and we never are with Jesus on our side.

They may not be armed, but they are mad.   Grin

Yep, looks pretty angry to me.

58273  Theology / Debate / Re:President Bush's approval rating drops to 38% on: November 07, 2005, 10:42:58 AM
The Skull and Bones Society is a college fraternity type organization that conspiracists due to their lack of knowing what it is has turned it into a big Satan driven anti-American, anti-Christian, one world order organization. The Skull and Bones Society is quite secretive as many frat groups sometimes tend to be. That and the fact that many of it's members have reached upper positions in our government have led to this conspiracy belief.

New Nevada law on false complaints unconstitutional
Nov 6, 2005, 09:42 PM

According to the American Civil Liberties Union, a Federal Appeals Court ruling nullifies a new Nevada law that made it unlawful for citizens to file a false complaint against Public Officials.

The Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said last week that a similar California law was an unconstitutional "Infringement of Speech" because false statements in support of officers were not criminalized.

Nevada ACLU officials say the decision will apply to a Nevada law passed in June that made it a misdemeanor to file a false report against any Public Official since Nevada falls under the court's jurisdiction.

Legislative Counsel Bureau officials say they have not reviewed the decision in detail.

But they say the new state law now might be overturned if it's challenged and the 2007 Legislature could consider Legislation to repeal it.

(My note:  The ACLU doesn't like this law because it would also stop many of their lawsuits.)

58275  Entertainment / Politics and Political Issues / Re: ACLU In The News on: November 07, 2005, 10:16:55 AM
Here's a NEWS FLASH for the ACLU and their supporters. We still get to vote in this country, and our votes determine what will be done and how it will be done. The ACLU isn't in charge of anything, and their voice isn't any more important than mine. The voters all over America are telling the ACLU and those like them that WE DON'T WANT THEIR GARBAGE AND FILTH. We will refuse to let them dictate what our children will be taught and how they will be raised. The LORD Willing, the power of the ACLU will be removed and the rightful order of things will be restored - one person - one vote. Tort reform and other proposed legislation might even force the ACLU to pay fines, penalties, attorney fees, and reparations for garbage law suits - current and maybe even past suits. I will be praying for just that.

AMEN

And another AMEN! to that.
