7/3/2003  Ten Commandments Rulings: Shifting Constitution or Shifting Courts?

It's a good thing I won't be here to see what the ACLU gets when the great tribulation happens. I know they will get their just desserts.
God is not to be mocked, let the ACLU think they are so powerful, the truth is they will be squirming and asking for mercy.

Sandra Banning was not looking for any trouble. Yet, when the federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals declared the Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional in June 2002, her young daughter unwittingly became the focus of national attention.

5/2/2003  The ACLU Exposed
This weekend on The Coral Ridge Hour, Dr. D. James Kennedy exposes the organization that deserves much of the blame for the current state of our culture: the American Civil Liberties Union. Founded in 1920 by a Communist sympathizer, they have, in the words of one pro-family activist, "normaphobia." That is, they are strenuously opposed to anything that most Americans consider good and normal.

3/21/2003  The New Tolerance
For the past decade, the dominant ethic within the United States has been "tolerance," or the belief that all worldviews are equally valid. This might sound well and good, but there is a deep-seeded hostility to Christianity that lies underneath. Dr. Kennedy explores this "new tolerance" in a sermon to be aired the weekend of March 22-23 on The Coral Ridge Hour.

3/14/2003  ACLU vs. Homeland Security
"The ACLU is a foe of religious freedom and an advocate for legalized pornography," sake Dr. D. James Kennedy. "But did you know they are also working against our government's efforts to protect our nation from terrorism?"

3/7/2003  The Lies of the ACLU
"Perhaps no group has used lies more effectively and devastatingly than the American Civil Liberties Union," said Dr. D. James Kennedy, on The Coral Ridge Hour program that will be broadcast this March 8 and 9. "This organization has pushed numerous lies to advance its anti-Christian agenda."

"The ACLU has waged a war on Christianity, and under-minded moral common sense in America for seventy-five years," said Dr. D. James Kennedy, on an upcoming edition of The Coral Ridge Hour, to be aired this March 1 and 2. "While they go out of their way to oppose the public display of the Ten Commandments, they defend other objectionable material."

2/26/2003  Anti-Christian Legal Organization Sues Christian-Based Ministry
Prison is not a happy place. People go there because they have been caught doing something illegal. For many of these men and women, they have hit rock bottom, and they must come to grips with the reality that they need to make a major change in their lives if they wish to rejoin society. Many of them think they can accomplish such a feat on their own. However, when they are eventually released from jail, many find themselves back inside a cell within months, because they are lured back into the lifestyle that got them into trouble to begin with.

2/14/2003  George Washington the Christian
His face is on the dollar bill. He was the commander in chief who led a small, ragtag army to victory over the world's greatest military force. He easily could have made himself king of America. Instead, he presided over the Constitutional Convention and then became America's first President, hence establishing our republican form of government that is still thriving over two hundred years later. In short, there is ample evidence that George Washington is, in the words of one historian, the most important person in American history.

The Declaration of Independence lists three rights that are inalienable, or absolutely fundamental to human dignity: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They are listed in order of priority. After all, without the inalienable right to life, the other basic rights cannot be pursued. As the Bible tells us, God created each person in His own image, so that we might glorify Him.

12/20/2002  Chief Justice Moore Given New Ultimatum: Remove Monument by January 3
In a setback to Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore, U.S. District Judge Myron Thompson issued a permanent injunction, demanding the removal of the Ten Commandments Monument by January 3. 12/19/2002  Ten Commandments Witness Rebuffs Federal Judge’s Claims
Author and scholar Michael Novak testified on behalf of Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore in November when an ACLU lawsuit against Moore came to trial. Jimmy Carter was just the fourth president in U.S. history—and the only one in the twentieth century—who did not get to nominate a Supreme Court Justice. Judging from the record of one of his appointees to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, that's probably a good thing.

7/1/1997  Gift, Cards Sent to Judge Friends of Coral Ridge Ministries proved themselves friends of Judge Roy Moore in April, enabling CRM to send $20,000 to help the Alabama judge continue his fight against an ACLU lawsuit challenging the presence of prayer and the Ten Commandments in his courtroom. 4/1/1997 Judge Moore Keeps Prayer, Ten Commandments In Court "Good morning, ladies and gentleman, I think we've got a roomful here today," Alabama Judge Roy Moore said as he greeted the crowd of spectators and prospective jurors packed into his courtroom on February 24. "As we have always done in Etowah County, we're going to be opening with prayer." 12/1/1996  Judge Fights to Honor God, Pray in Court Alabama Judge Roy S. Moore is fighting an ACLU lawsuit which seeks the removal of a wooden carving of the Ten Commandments and the longstanding practice of courtroom prayer from his Etowah County courtroom. Judge Moore, a West Point graduate who served in Vietnam, isn't backing down. Since the ACLU filed its lawsuit in March 1995, Judge Moore has counter-sued, asking a state court to resolve the constitutionality of official acknowledgments of God. A circuit court ruling was pending when Impact went to press. Regardless of that outcome, both Judge Moore and his opponents are committed to pursuing the case to the Alabama Supreme Court and, from there, to the U.S. Supreme Court. 4/1/1996 Reclaiming America Brings Vision and People Together More than 900 people from 39 states heard the call to enlist in America's culture war at Coral Ridge Ministries' Reclaiming America for Christ Conference, March 1-3, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 7/1/1995  ACLU Sues Judge Over Ten Commandments, Prayer He's a West Point graduate, a Vietnam veteran, a karate champion, and a believer. So last July when the ACLU announced it planned to sue Judge Roy S. Moore to force him to remove the Ten Commandments from his courtroom wall and stop court prayers, he wasn't intimidated.

My Note:  This is really just a short sample of the devil's work done by the ACLU. Christians need to join together and put the ACLU completely out of business. Our LORD will one day deal with these types of people in a final way. In the meantime, we can de-horn them, cut their tails off, stub their toes, and do everything lawful that we can to stand against them until JESUS comes to take us home.

It's a good thing I won't be here to see what the ACLU gets when the great tribulation happens. I know they will get their just desserts.
God is not to be mocked, let the ACLU think they are so powerful, the truth is they will be squirming and asking for mercy.

Hello airIam2worship,

They will definitely get what they want and what they richly deserve unless they accept JESUS before it's too late. They are really little more than finger puppets for the devil, so we should keep praying for them and witness to them every chance we get.

Love in Christ,
Tom

John 1:10-13 NASB  He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
