I live without a remote, 90% of the time. I keep forgetting to buy batteries. The energizer bunny is needed again.

Entertainment / Politics and Political Issues / ACLU Complains About Christian Comedy Team

POSTED: 5:21 am EDT October 14, 2005 LA PLATA, Md. -- The American Civil Liberties Union has filed a complaint about a Christian comedy team that performed at five southern Maryland public schools.
The ACLU of Maryland sent a letter to Charles County Superintendent James Richmond, characterizing the program as "a vehicle for religious proselytizing" that violates the First Amendment.
Rick and Mick Vigneulle have performed at two high schools and three middle schools in Charles County this year. The pair invite students to off-campus pizza parties where they deliver a religious message.
A schools spokeswoman said their program, "Attitude Check," promotes anti-drug, anti-suicide and motivational messages. School officials approved the program, and spokeswoman Katie O'Malley Simpson says they didn't perceive it as religious.

Pastor, I don't know why this is happening, but all of a sudden the posts are too big to fit the screen. I have to use the scroll bar on the bottom to be able to read all of it. Do you think it's because the graphic of the switch and MY TROPHY are too big?? Yeah, the pictures were a bit to big. I didn't take the time to reduce their size.

Hey, I'm only 3855 behind DW today.
I only have to pass Tibby, Ambassador4Christ, Symphony, sincereheart, and Brother Love and they haven't been here in a long time.
piece of cake you can catch up on some of them but you probably will never catch up with DW Nope, I wouldn't dream of trying to pass DW. I think that would be a lost cause.

The Greatest
“And whoever would be greatest among you, let him be the servant of all.” (Matthew 20:27)
I used to think this was a command of Jesus intended for those who were great among Christians, telling them how they should behave towards others. Leaders should act as servants. Those especially gifted should use that gift for those less gifted. Those with the most faith should impart to those with less faith. While all these definitions are true in some sense, the verse is more accurately an instruction from the Savior to anyone who wishes to become great among believers.
Jesus is giving us divine advice on how to make ourselves great Christians. He is saying that the one who serves all, is greatest. And he is greatest, not just because he serves all, but because in serving all, he grows in himself all the beautiful attributes of God, who lowered himself to human form and came to serve, not to be served.
Many people have aspired to be better Christians by memorizing scripture, earning theological degrees, starting ministries, fasting, and praying without ceasing. But the weightier matters of the faith - mercy, grace, love, etc., are made full in a believer the most when that believer is giving of his own strength, and especially of his own time, in order to benefit somebody else. This means the hard stuff—things we don’t particularly look forward to. Jesus epitomized this practice when He stooped down and washed the dirty feet of His own disciples, when they should’ve been washing His.
So, while God gives us a form of service to Him that is also a gift to us, and pleasing. God says we are doing the greater work when we step out and serve our fellow man. And by Jesus’ example, obviously that form of service will not always be the most appealing. But if we would become great Christians, it is most necessary for the character it instills in us is basic Godliness.
