Outstanding conversation brothers!   When I get some time I will try to do some study on this so we can speak on it more.
Grace and Peace!

What do you call normal size?? For me it's at least 20 oz.

hmmmm, the 16oz is standard for me, but the 20oz would be more my style.  I think its funny that BEP's found a picture of me in the morning with my coffee

Hmmm, interesting how this thread is turning out.
Lets see, I'm 29, happily married for five years to a blond (following Gary's lead here) who is a "mad" scientist..LOL (just kidding).  Both of us love the Lord and are now working to tie our very large family back together in the hopes that those still lost will come to find the way through Jesus Christ.  No children but I have two cats that act just like them (see the pet thread).  Their initials just happened to be T n T....go figure.  Pennsylvania is where I call home and I like it very much.  Work in HE which is great and there are a lot of Christians on the campus I work, and it happens to be a secular school.  Praise the Lord for that!  I once was a lead singer in a rock band that had some nice regional success but I wasn't cut out for that life style and  so now I enjoy working in my garden in my free time.  I can't wait to go home (not from work, I mean our real home) and be with the Lord.  Hows that!!!?  Enough info?  Grin Grin Grin    No frappacino is not coffee, its just a bunch of goop Grin.  Although I'm not sure Navy coffee is coffee either, but PR is the pro on that subject so he will have the final say....LOL!

2nd Timothy,
I'm sorry brother, but for me could you provide a bit of clarification on How do we love our enemy's?  Are you speaking here of war or of someone in the neighborhood who is opposed to you?  Just curious.  Thanks brother!
101  Prayer / Prayer Requests / Re: where do I start? on: July 19, 2006, 01:51:03 PM
I will be praying for you Selina.
Know that the Lord may not be telling you he doesn't want you to teach, but might be trying to show you something from this experience.  I work in higher education administration, know and have spoken to many students who are in your situation.  The Praxis I and II are not easy exams and I have talked with many students who have closely missed the scores and have been successful on their second attempt.  Perhaps the Lord is looking for you to put faith in him to provide for you financially while you student teach.  There is also the alternate route method of teaching (you can find that information on your states DE website).  At any rate, I will pray that the Lord will show you clear and visible course to your life whether it be teaching or something else still secret.
Blessings!

Love is a big responsibility and a very large commitment.  The Lord has proved this in scripture over and over.  Love can never be confused with pacifism, which is beautifully stated in PR's post.  I learned my greatest lessons in life when the old man "took me out behind the woodshed."  If you knew my father you would think it impossible for that man to be angree and be a disciplinarian.  I was just plain stubborn at the time and was extremely disobedient, but I learned my lesson every time.  Now that I'm older I'm thankful that he LOVED me enough to set me straight in my ways.  It surely did hurt him more then it hurt me.  That is how I see the situation in Israel.  I will support them because of the Word of God, our Loving Father.  The Bible commands us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves, to love our enemies. It never says let them take our faith from us, and that is exactly what terrorism is trying to do.
Blessings!

103  Theology / General Theology / Re: Question here.....again =) on: July 19, 2006, 12:31:54 PM
Thanks Sister,
One thing that jumped out at me was the resurrection of the body.
We are taught that the body will share this bliss as well as the soul: the consummation of our bliss is subsequent to the resurrection of the body; for it is redeemed as well as the soul, and shall, at the resurrection of the just, be fashioned like unto Christ's glorious body.

LUKE 24: 37 - 43 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have."
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, "Do you have anything here to eat?" They gave him a piece of broiled fish, and he took it and ate it in their presence.
104  Prayer / Prayer Requests / Re: My prayers for God's children around the world today . . . on: July 19, 2006, 10:51:41 AM
I would be honored Brother to do so.  Praying with you.
105  Theology / General Theology / Re: Question here.....again =) on: July 19, 2006, 10:26:43 AM
Yes, lets get back to business.  I think what I would like to know is about what the Bible refers to as the third heaven 2 Corinthians 12:2, the first being the atmosphere Job 35: 10 - 11 and the second being the realm of the sun, moon, stars Genesis 1: 14  But I'm open to all study so lets refine a bit what we would like to look at.  Thoughts?
