I have a request id like for you all to remember.. theres a story that goes behind it so bare with me please..

this story starts out for me about 3.5 yrs ago roughly, i met a lady online, and have grown to be very good friends and sis's.. she had a brother that had come home from work and caught his wife and her female "friend" abusing one of his kids sexually and well he looked into it and found out that she had been doing this to all 5 of thier kids and another of her kids she had before him.. he worked out alot and this was hidden well from him, he immediately left and took the kids and fought for ful custody.. even for the one child , the oldest that was his adopted son.. well it took several years for the custody battles to be finished and so he was for several years a single father of 6 kids from 5 to 14 at that time..(4 yrs ago) well, he was working as an electrician and had an accdent at work (a beam feel accross his back) well anyways due to a family situation, he and his 6 kids ended up flying to his sisters home from WV to Seattle Washington..and while there, about 2 weeks after getting there, he had an accidental over dose... the drs did everything they could and he fought hard but lost the battle..this of course devestated his kids and his sister but she and her husband adopted all 6 and plus 2 of thier own 19 yrs and 20..well during this time thier mom got in touch and wanted to make things right cause she had found out she was dyin but before they coudl decide  as kids to allow her back in thier lives. she did die..again causing  more grief..well.. 3 years have passsed  and thier uncle had become as much of a father as possible,, did everything with the 6 kids and so did his older son, but the uncle (roy) became very very close to them, sadly and this is where the request comes in.. he found out about 8-9 mnths ago he had level 4 MS.. and last week he felt funny they took him to hospital and there he died with very little warning from a blood clot in his lung.. this family is devestated beyond words.. the kids feel they have lost #2 father.. these kids and thier real dad are christians but the uncle and aunt arent  so they are so upset.. and also,, the kids are barely holding on, having been thru more then most adults will have been thru in thier entire lives..they are feeling neglected of god and such things that kids may tend to feel when going thru this kinda hell, the funeral is this thursday they had to extend it do that the family could all get there, so please keep this entire family in prayer.. they need all they can get.. im close to this family  and its just breaking my heart.. they need God desperately..
I know it was long and i apologise but felt it needed told to get the real sense of urgency thats there..
Thanks for your prayers ahead of time
luv and hugs

Sister, I work with a lot of kids here in government housing. A lot of them have gone through very similar situations. It is very devastating and I understand the urgency completely. I will be praying for these children and their families, as well as for you. May they all grow closer to God and be comforted in His arms.

well i have gotten word that Justin , one fo the young men that lost his dad then uncle here.. the night before the uncle died. he talked to uncle roy and told him about Jesus and how He died do that we might be saved and so forth and the word is that roy said the sinners prayer and asked God to save his soul and to make his life right< some of ya'll might not beleive in death bed repentance but excuse me for for a minute while i thank My Saviour for giving this young 15 yr old young man the words and the wisdom to know what to say and the courage to do this so's to see his uncle not die and know he hadnt done his best to win him to the Lord.. we serve a merciful God.. and i beleive he looks at the heart and if the heart is sincere and that they truly want to give up the ways of the world and profess Christ as thier saviour.... i belive He takes them to live with Him in eternity.. I just have to say..  Cry Thank You Jesus!!
To God be the Glory, this might well be what brings in Roys Wife and son and daughter!! to this end i pray!!
Hugs..

Sister, there have been many that have accepted Christ at the last minute. Look in the Bible .. it shows us this to be true.

Praise God for this young mans stepping forward at the right time.

I will be praying also TL.   Sounds like God is using Justin in big ways through this situation, and perhaps the others as well.  A 15 year old leading his Uncle to Christ.... Praise God!!!!    The many events that take place in each persons life, good or bad, is allowed by God to shape us and mold us into the image of Christ.   Its certainly difficult for us to fully understand these things in this life, but trusting and putting our full weight on Him is what He's after.   It is then, that His Glory is displayed for those around us in mighty ways.   Will be keeping them in prayer.

Love in Christ.

hi tim, isnt it wonderful!! 15  and friend.. can he preach, no kiddin.. he will study and write down these sermons and his pastor will let him speak on youth days and such,, i wish i lived closer to the family, i want to just give him a big old hug  and tell him in person how truly proud i am to know him and his family.. he took curage and did hat many adults would be scared to do.. and your right, its hard to understand ,but i have to wonder if God knew this might be the only way roy would listen and turn his life to him..roy was a wonderful loving man but not interested in church and all, and what a testimony this gives Justin, what a eye opener to him and his family that it dont matter the age, God will use anyone thats open to His voice!!
ty for your continued prayer and friendship!
hugs..
