Hello to everyone!

Hello there.I am new to this site and I already love it! I am a mother of three and step-mother of three. My husband and I have been married almost two years now.My first marriage lasted for 11 years with a lot of abuse( not physical). My children are 9,7,and5.My oldest and middle kids are both girls and my baby(5) is an very active little boy!Since I have remarried things are going great for us and I love my husband dearly. We attend a local Baptist Church where we live.I have a request if its ok for me to mention.I had my tubes tied after my youngest was born and now I am truely regretting it.My husband and I would love to have a beautiful child together, but that is God's hands now.I dont want to have a reversal and we have been praying for a while now so I am leaving it in God's hand and His will be done.Well I guess thats enough about me and my family.I will keep all in touch with things in our lives.May God bless all of you!

Hello Dawn,
WELCOME SISTER!
I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite.
Sister, you have six children, so I must ask: What do you do with all of your spare time? :D
I look forward to reading your posts and having fellowship with you.
Love In Christ,
Tom

Let me clear one thing up please.I do have 6 children, but in the past few weeks My step-kids have decided to go live with there mom.( The grass is always greener on the other side til you get there!)We have prayed about the situation for a while now and decided if thats what they want then thats what they will do.They think its more fun over there but what they dont understand is that its always fun on the weekends but when they stay there all the time its going to change. Please pray for them and there mother. As I can tell their mother has never been saved and acts out a bit.She needs Christ in her life now more than ever now that she is raising her kids.I believe a kid needs a good role modle not just at one parents house but both of them.( it doesnt take a village,it takes a good family and God to raise a child in the way God wants them to be raised.) Thank you all for your responses and prayers.May God bless you all!

Siter Dawn, please allow me to welcome you to Christians Unite
I know you will meet a lot of wonderful, very sweet Christians here, and I know you will enjoy it.
I too am a step-mom I raised my 4 children (ages 36-24) and after 12 years in an abusive marriage, remarried 11 years later, for the past 7 years I have been raising my 2 step-daughhters, and to be honest with you, they don't even want to visit their mother anymore. At first they resisted me a lot as their 'mother' had told them a lot of bad things about step-mothers, but they found out differently and are very happy here, they call me mom and they received Jesus as thei Savior shortly after I got them. Children generally feel as if they are being traitors towards their biological moms, my 2 felt that way, but now they realize this is where they are happiest and best cared for. I do pray for their biological mom as they call her now, they talk to her maybe once a month or so, but have no desire to be with her. I must admit it took me some time to get used to them as well, but it has all worked out. Thank God.
