I am in EXTRAORDINARY PAIN right now . . . I feel like I could cry, so I'm going to log off, say a prayer and go to bed.
I love you,
TalkerCat I'll be praying for you, sister.

Brothers and Sisters,
I just read the last few pages of this thread, and I missed a good time in the LORD with my weird sleeping. I was just laughing at myself for calling it weird sleeping. It really doesn't matter when I sleep, rather I should just give thanks that I did get some rest.
Most of you know that I am addicted to a FREE Bible software program called e-Sword. I have it running in the background most of the time. I saw the portion of this thread about cutting and pasting Scripture, and e-Sword does that and much more. It also gives me instant and one-click access to look up Scripture, several excellent dictionaries, several excellent commentaries, and my personal notes in a handy built-in editor. AND, I can make the fonts large for easy reading. I know it sounds like I'm selling e-SWORD, but it's FREE, so I'm completely legal. :D
I'm happy that GOD has allowed us this place of fellowship, and I'm very happy that prayers have already been offered for those who are ill and in pain. We love GOD and I trust HIM to work everything out for our own good in this short life. There will always be joy in the morning, and one day it will be in the presence of JESUS forever.
Love In Christ, Tom
Psalms 143:8 NASB Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul.

Hello Sister Maria, I know there are several outstanding electronic Bible study packages that are completely FREE, and there are many more great packages that cost money. I think that a lot of the likes and dislikes of various programs deal with personal preferences and what someone might want to do with their software. The main thing that I want folks to know is that you don't have to be rich or have money to have excellent Bible study software. Others have brought it to my attention that there are many more outstanding and FREE Bible study packages. I've been meaning to try some of them and get links for others to use. I have tried the Online Bible, The Sword, and Theophilus (sp), and they are also outstanding, completely FREE, and have no strings attached. Maybe this would be a good idea for a separate thread in the Computer and Software area of the board. I'm sure there are others that I don't know about. If Sister Terri doesn't have one, I'm sure there are several excellent recommendations we can make. Love In Christ, Tom Ephesians 4:4-6 NASB There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

Brother Tom, I myself use the on-line Bible Gateway. It's free and you have many different versions. At last count there are 19 English versions. Bible Gateway

I gave up on E-Sword, it locked up my computer to many times. So I stay away from it now.

Once you get a new computer with plenty of ram and rom to handle it I am sure that you will like it better. (Notice I said when not if .... you will get one in God's time brother)

OK, here I am! The awful truth and the horror for the whole forum to see! I'm actually holding a huge rainbow trout that I just caught. It was the last time my late brother Jim and I went rainbow fishing. I'll look for the whole picture, so you can all be jealous! John
