Good Afternoon.  I 've been busy doing light yard work, going around picking up sticks and dead branches so we can mow the lawn again.  Been getting a little rain every afternoon, it makes the grass grow.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  Now I need a cup of regular coffee and some good fellowship.
please Islandboy!!just a little..in Jesus Def

It's raining here right now and looks like it will be all afternoon. It sounded like we were going to have lightening storm with it but it only thundered once off in the distance and went on by us. We can use the rain so I'm thankful for it.

A wonderful 75 degrees right now and my windows are open so I'm enjoying that also.

Please Def, know that my dear Lord and Savior, is upper most in my mind and heart.  Read some of my other posts before you judge me.   Sad  Sad

We are clearing a wooded area near the house that is over crowded with weeds. We raised the wheels on our poor old lawn mower and put on safety goggles and have been mowing this area. Keeps an old geezer like me busy picking up all the branches in the way of the mower. We are trying to create a fire line, and also make the area look better. Too much exercise for little ole me thou.   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It sounds like more than I would want to even try. I'll be glad to serve the coffee though.

Good Morning Everyone!

The store was out of cinnamon, so I've gone completely wild and I'm trying Hazelnut this morning. AND, it's also diet with a wonderful flavor.

Islandboy, I always wondered what espresso was, so you helped me out.  Wink

I knew not to ask for Moroccan coffee, and now I know not to ask for espresso when I go to one of those fancy places. I'll give everyone a big laugh. I'm not used to places like Starbucks, and I'm certainly not used to paying $4 to $6 for a cup of coffee, even a large cup of coffee. OK, I went with my kids, and I asked for something not bitter. I have no idea what they called it, but it was horrible.   Grin  I don't go to Starbucks anymore. If we go somewhere with the kids, I ask for plain black coffee, just for fear that I might get something weird. AND, I figure there must be something strange about the coffee if it's more than $2. YES, I've even been guilty of asking for old guy, old fashioned black coffee.   Grin

HAPPY SON-DAY!

Good morning all.

I don't like going to Starbucks either. I was in a mall where I couldn't get any coffee unless it was from Starbucks. I asked for plain dark coffee and that's what I got. It was horrible. It tasted as though it was made from burnt beans. Now if I go to that mall I stop at the nearest service station before I get there for coffee or take some with me from home instead of paying such high prices.

Starbucks is also anti-Christian, according to what they say on the cups.  Brother I hate to tell you but, McDonalds coffee, ranked higher then starbucks. Grin Grin

We do have a starbucks up here, and they were giving away free coffee. I tried a cup, and threw it away.  I also said that was the worst cup of coffee, I've ever had in my life and walked away.  Shocked

Yeah and now they are changing their brand of coffee. They were using a Columbian grind now they are using a Vermont brand. I prefer Columbian which is what most restaurants use.
