Good evening everyone. Today I took most of the day off to visit the local thrift stores. went to the Goodwill store to look for those hard to pass up treasures. Ended up with some books to read, and just the fun of getting away from yardwork.  Hope all of you had a great day filled with many blessings from God. Time for more coffee. |

Hello Islandboy and All, Either my ISP or computer has been down because of all the flooding. I really don't know which. The computer worked fine - just not online. We've had several big rains here, but we are fine. There were huge problems all around us - including some drownings from flooding. Please keep these people in your prayers and the thousands now without a home. Oklahoma has been hit very hard again. Many residents of Lawton Fort Sill are still trying to recover from the last flooding, but we didn't have many flooding problems this time. However, many people just short distances from us have had a horrible time AGAIN. We just got some repairs finished from the last round of flooding and storms. So far, I don't think that we have any new damage. If we do, it will have to wait. We were down to several remaining items to repair from the last storms, and those are scheduled. My wife and I have nothing to complain about. We are exceptionally thankful and are praying for thousands of people much less fortunate close to us. Some of the fatalities were less than 30 miles from us. Things like this make you look at your priorities in life and put things into perspective, especially with GOD and family. As an example, many are giving thanks today to simply be alive. This is also a reminder about how this short life is uncertain. Good morning every one..Please Tom i would really like if it is possible to start a topic on "Perseverance" something like ` if your new here`..by Keifer..that is so good and encouraging .and i think the topic would help..the Lord say to go testify to the nation "pain turn into "praise" is good testifying right,.God smile on your Day you all,In the fullness of His SonLight.. One coffee please strong going fishing "fisher of men"and woman and all the little children I better take a "Net" the "bible" now that`s the Holy Spirit...in Jesus Def.waiting on a answer pls Tom..in Jesus name..  ;)praying for your people in your situation .. |

Good Morning everyone. YES !!! It's me Maria I'm back, Glory be to God... It seems like I have been gone for so long that I feel like a stranger  I see we have a lot of new members I will get to welcome you all individually all soon but for now I want to welcome all our new members and I look forward to getting to know you all  I have been gone for a few months for several reasons, some health, some financial, some weather or computer related but God is good all the time and I am back now, I pray I won't have to be gone this long ever again I missed being here and I missed all of you, believe me though you have all been in my thoughts and prayers. YEAH! - Hello Sister Maria, We've been missing you, and you are in our prayers. For me, there has literally been a lot of water under the bridge since I talked to you last. In fact, there's been a lot of water over the bridge, out of the creeks, out of the lakes, and out of the rivers in my neck of the woods. We are very fortunate - GOD has been good to us and kept us safe. I think there are others on the forum who have also gone through at least 1 flood since we heard from you. Oklahoma has had two long flash-flooding periods in just the last 3 months. I've gone into business selling mold, mildew, and fungus for preparation of powerful medications. YES - I'm kidding. It's wonderful to have you back. Love in Christ, Tom |

Love in Christ, Tom Brother Tom selling mold and fungus sounds like a good idea, who knows we might be able to use it for gas for our cars I am glad to be back, I am sorry about the floods you have been having, we on the other hand have been going through a dry spell and I thank God that so far we haven't had a hurricane hit us even though we could use the rain. |

Hello Sister Def, Thousands of my neighbors will appreciate your continued prayers - THANKS! I think that your idea for the thread is a good one. Many of us read the Bible and Study every day for strength. I think this is especially true for many of us with serious health problems, disabilities, and other long-term problems.
