Goodnight Sister Def,

Sleep well. You just reminded me of an old song that will always be one of my favorites: "This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine." I remember this song all the way back to being a small child. I also remember lessons given from the Bible about the LIGHT of JESUS and having the LIGHT of JESUS within us to share with others.

This is a beautiful thought, and I like the reality that Christians can be beacons of LIGHT in a dark and suffering world. It makes me very happy to hear about others wanting the LIGHT and escaping from the darkness. The LIGHT is with us for eternity, and no power in the universe can put this beautiful LIGHT out.

Love In Christ,
Tom

1 Timothy 6:12 NASB  Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Ephesians 4:4-6 NASB  There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 NASB  Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.
Good morning Tom,good morning everyone in Jesus today let us be happy as much as possible to the glory of God our Father like children let do it a moment at the time.Hallelujah have a happy day..love in Jesus,Def

Good morning everyone!

The coffee is good, and it's Saturday morning. I'm watching Animal Planet right now, but I'll change if I can find some good cartoons of the old variety.

I would settle for:

Elmer Fudd
Donald Duck
Bugs Bunny
Foghorn Leghorn (One of my favorites)
Road Runner

AND a reminder for now.

Be vary vary quiet - I'm hunting wabbits.

Hello everyone, it's Saturday afternoon and I am plumb wore out. I just got home from helping the church decorate for vacation bible school. They based it around a sport theme, so we were decorating with sports equipment. All that getting and reaching up and down was hard on these old bones and muscles of mine. Even my poor old feet hurt. It's nice to come in here and sit down and have a cup of coffee and plain relax.  Hope you'all have been having a good day.

That sounds like a fun time to me. Wish i were able to do such things again. I remember having a lot of such fun times, now I have to leave all that to the younger generation. Now my idea of fun times is sitting and telling the younger generation of the good ole days.   Cheesy Cheesy

I really should have left it to the younger ones, but I got catch-up in the moment of wanting to be useful and actually help do something in the church and for the young people of our community. But now I will pay for it and be crippled for the next several days. Oh, for the good ole days of youth when I could more things. But I guess older and wiser is better.
They are doing a program called "Game Day Central".  I got a chance to read about the program and from what I could tell, it's a good solid Christian program. I hope the kids enjoy it.

I hope they enjoy it and that it glorifies God in them.

I work with kids daily but I don't even try to keep up with them. That would be a losing situation all the way around. I do attempt to provide them with the word of God that they don't receive elsewhere.

Hello everyone, it's Saturday afternoon and I am plumb wore out.
I know what you mean, my muscles hurt in places they haven't hurt in a long time.

The grankids are heading home, with mom and dad.  I love having them here. I don't like how I feel after they leave.

Good Morning all. It is another wonderful day in the Lord. Another wonderful opportunity to serve Him in all we do and say.

Coffee breaks are a wonderful time in which we can enjoy the wonderful fellowship of others and to worship our Lord and Saviour together. There is one coffee break that I look forward to spending with you all ... that GREAT ETERNAL COFFEE BREAK with Jesus Christ and all who accept Him.

Until then we must continue fighting the good fight, telling all of His wondrous saving grace.

ANOTHER BIG AMEN PASTOR ROGER!

It's a beautiful thought to think about what our LORD and SAVIOUR has prepared for us who love HIS APPEARING. There are some descriptions in the Holy Bible, but they are really beyond the imagination of man. Regardless of what happens in the world, our time here is short. In fact, it might be much shorter than we think, but it really doesn't matter because our Hopes for the future are in JESUS CHRIST.

We can and should be like Paul. As long as we stay here, it will mean fruitful labor with GOD working in and through us. If we physically die, it will be "absent from the body and present with the LORD." It's also quite possible for many of us here to be living when JESUS CHRIST catches up HIS CHURCH to meet HIM in the air - forever to spend eternity with HIM. Regardless, everything we have to look forward to is in the LIGHT of JESUS CHRIST!

Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST, there is something very simple that I like to think about many times every day:  For Christians, all of the best things COME LAST and they last for ETERNITY!
