BEPs I have 14 grandchildren  Grin. I'll share them with you. You can have them at Christmas time and on their birthdays.   Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin

                          WARNING

They are addictive, and may be hazardous to your health if you try to keep up with all of them at once. They can also be very expensive.    Grin  Grin

Now that's funny. Brother Bob can use a few of them, too.   Grin Grin Grin

Have a happy anniversary sister.

Thanks PR, DW, BEP's. We enjoyed dinner at my favorite resturant  Grin  Grin  Grin

Word of advice to you guys, my husband admitted he was going to try to get away with just buying me flowers... I had to remind him a few days in advance how "little" thought goes into buying flowers, and that it only proves that the thought was left for the last minute.  Grin  Grin  Grin He tried to slip that by me again..
Flowers are great if you just want to surprise your wife and let her know how much you love and think of her and for no particular reason wanted to buy flowers for her, or even just 1 rose, or 1 tulip, will work.

Brother Roger,

I've got a great idea that might dramatically help Brother Bob get ready for the future. We could have all the grandparents here round up all the kids and put them in one place. We would then invite Brother Bob over to change all the diapers. This would free us to play and have fun with the kids while Brother Bob learned some valuable experience for the future. After thinking about this, I don't think that we should charge Brother Bob for this school. It would just be one of those things that we did freely out of the goodness of our hearts.   Grin

You got my vote. But I also have a few teens with a few teen issues, maybe we could give him a crash course on that as well and let's n ot forget the 4-8 yr olds who think the know it all or the 9-13 year olds who think that moms and dads don't have a clue about life.   Grin  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin  OOOHHH wait I forgot the 2 year olds they are the most fun they get you ready for a good nap, so they can stay up and get into all kinds of mischief.    Grin Grin Grin Grin

Pastor Roger,

That's the beautiful part about being a grandparent. Our job is to have fun with the kids. The hard part and the problems are reserved for the parents. It sure is fun hearing some of the stories that remind us of when they were children. It's funny how several years of responsibility with children change your grown son or daughter's perceptions about nearly everything. You can see the light-bulbs coming on and just smile or chuckle. The last time I did that at my daughter's home, she looked at me, laughed, and said "I know exactly what you're laughing at."

Love in Christ,
Tom

Ephesians 6:1-4 NASB  Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise), SO THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Amen BEP's So far each of my 3 daughters has called me to apologize for anything and everything that they ever did to displease, disobey, or put me out of sorts for. Now that they are moms they know just what I went through.

In fact my youngest daughter called me a little while ago to find out what she should do about her 5 year old who refuses to eat meat. I told her "it's the same phase you went through at the same age", in fact she want she wanted to be a veteragin ( a vet who won't eat meat), that was until we went past a McD or any other one of the fast food places.
