That is a requirement for some threads and if you aren't when you start in that thread you will be before the thread is finished. (If the thread ever finishes).

I know what you mean PR. I used to crochet a blamket for each new grandbaby, but then they started arriving within days of each other and I couldn't keep up with all the crotheting I think I had ti give up when I got to #'s 8 & 9.
