Hello All

I have been a memeber here for a little while, but have not posted.
I like to read some of the posts to get a feel of things first.
So this is my first post.

About me... Well let's see...

I was saved by the Lord when I was a teenager, and I hope you know what I mean when I say this, but I was physically saved by the Lord from a near drowning.

I am married to a really great guy for 20 years now.
I have 2 children, ages 30 and 32.
We have 6 grandchildren.

I work at a Retirement Home part-time.
My husband is disabled and enjoy's tinkering and working in our church when he feels good.

We have 3 dogs. A sheplab, a (chiwahwah?), and a german shepherd, 1 parrot, 1 cat. Our own little zoo.

We also take care of my 73 year old Dad.

I like to take my dogs out and let them run in the woods, gardening, talking on the phone, and if I can helping folks.
We will start using a metal detector this year, I got my husband one for Christmas.

I'm on the hunt for something to do at home online, because eventually I'll have to be here. (Any idea's?) That's about it.

I have been on discussion boards before, and know they can get out of hand. I'm sure that won't happen here.

I'm hoping to learn some things here, and hopefully help someone too.

   WELCOME ANYAH!  Your life sounds a bit like mine, except that I'm the one disabled and my husband helps care for my needs.  I hope you enjoy your visit here and come back often - this is a great bunch of christians!  We have a lot of fun and we also support, love and pray for each other.  So far, I haven't seen any of the forums "get out of hand".  If anything, you will make friends!

I think I will enjoy being apart of this forum. Here of late I have too much going on. And on what few day(s) I get off I'm exhausted.
