I would like to get some opinions or even scripture reference for this question. What profit or gain is there for a man of God to disciple another man of God, from the discipler's point of view? In other words, how do I profit or gain from discipling another man of God on how to walk faithful to God? I am trying to sell this point to enlist men of God to volunteer to disciple other less mature men of God. Thanks for your help. Phil

Personal gain should not be the motivating factor. Having the love enough for the Lord to do His work should be reward enough. However if we do the Lords work willingly their are rewards the Lord will give us in heaven.

Mat 6:20  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mat 6:21  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
