well I didn't get booted  now pray I don't get booted or the white screen.
I wouldn't even mind the white screen if it wwas for  only 30 seconds or so but gosh it just stays there fo at least 2 minutes.

I think the lack of sleep is getting to me............me and a jet mechanic were thuroghly entertained by doing facing movements while locking up.............I hate working nights

Hello Sister Maria,

I had that problem only once since ADMIN upgraded the servers, and the problem was on my end with my ISP.

I did want to mention a couple of ideas to try. First, if you are using Internet Explorer with all of the latest security upgrades, make sure that you list Christians Unite as a TRUSTED SITE on the security tab of IE. It's a good idea to do this anyway, regardless of whether you are using Internet Explorer or not. I did find out that the settings on Internet Explorer effect any browser that you use. It's also a good idea to list Christians Unite as TRUSTED in your firewall program. As far as I know, Christians Unite is one of the safest sites on the Internet, and I think it is almost impossible for someone to attack you going through the software of Christians Unite. Somebody could obviously attack you directly, but not through Christians Unite. So, Christians Unite is one of the very few places that I have listed on all of my security as TRUSTED.

If you make the changes I recommended, reboot your machine after making the changes so that you will know the changes have been made before you try Christians Unite again. If you still have problems, I would recommend that you call your ISP. The problem was my ISP on the last time I had the problems you are having. The time before that I had problems was a server between my ISP and Christians Unite.

By the way, I also recommend that people use Firefox. I have much fewer problems with Firefox than Internet Explorer. I hope this helps some.

BEPs as you may notice I am somewhat late in responding to this post, as you already know I did change my browser from IE to Firefox and my problem has been taken care of. By the way, I had Firefox a while back and I started using the version I had, I noticed that I was having a bit of a problem with Firefox timing out before the connection was made, however I found out that I had an older version of Firefox and I updated my version, since then I've had no problems whatsoever.

Hello Sister Maria,

I usually try to keep the newest version of Firefox on my system. It just gets better and faster. As a general rule, Firefox is the fastest and most trouble free browser there is. I really like the fact that it's FREE, and the programmers involved don't have any motive other than to provide best quality FREE software. It has been consistently listed as the number ONE browser by most of the best reviews for almost a year now. I must add there are some great add-ons that are also FREE.

WELL!!!! Thunderstorms subsided, my power went out only once, I can still hear the thunder rolling in the distance so I don't know if that means more storms coming our way or just this storm leaving. It doesn't look like it's going to clear up.

Loud thunder and lightning just answered my question, more storm coming.

I was just looking at the doppler radar for your area. It looks like a spotted cow all around you with the storms.
