Yeah, I'm kinda stuck in the city right now. I love going to my sisters place though for a visit when she still had the farm. It was the way I was raised. A two story farmhouse with a really big kitshen and a barn that both was well over 100 years old. Family get togethers in the big front yard under the shade of some old maple trees.
I guess I'm lucky, my morage is paided off. I have land, which I lease out for grazing. And 1/4 acre for my crops to be planted. Theres more of the garden then I can use, so I rotate my crops each year now.

No but I don't use the home button. I open a new tab, when I want into a topic. Then I close the tab when I finish.

So do I sister, and I was born in the city, Los Angeles. But I lived for a few years on my grandpas farm. It was there I fell in love with the country.

I still get garden fresh veggies and fruits from a garden I help with at my daughter's house and another one at my sisters. My sister is the one that has both veggies and fruits.

Me too. That statement though almost sounds like parts from Green Acres.

Well I have 8 apple, 4 orange, 1 cherry and 8 peach trees. So I do get fresh fruit each year. The ony thing I hate is canning everything. So I allow some of the poorer families to pick from my trees, and pick some of the corn.
