PR the only problem is that it includes the sleep I get with a 24 hour period.  Shocked

That is a problem. I have a hypersensitivity to drugs. If I take a painkiller or an antihistamine it knockes me out. The problem with that though is that I can't take them as often as I need them. They make me sick. I can take Darvocets and Benydrils once in awhile. Anything else puts me in the hospital not being able to breath or causing heart pains so most of the time I just put up with the body pain and lack of sleep until I get desperate.

Sister Maria, did you have fun with your son?

I pray that y'all had a great time. Grin Grin

As do I. Family time is important for it to be enjoyable.

We had big fun, he knows I'm limited in what activities I can do so we went to the local mall which is the only mall I like cause most of the time it's quiet and not too many people, only thing is we had to go 2 days in a row in order to get thru the whole mall, I can't walk that much  Sad
But we enjoyed just being together.  Cheesy Cheesy

nothing makes me sleep, I have to take diazapam (valium) as a maintanace medication for stiffman syndrome, as well as Baclofen, and Celcept, and mestonin, and sleeping pills but none of this helps.

That's great. I enjoy time with my family no matter what it is that we are doing.

My wife is like that. She can take the maximum allowed of any drug and still keep on going sometimes as much as 36 hours before she can get to sleep and even then it takes her forever to get there after she lays down. Then it isn't long before she gets up again.

I can sympathize with your wife PR.
On another note, I just got back from the rheumatologist, I got good news and bad news.
Good news first; NO Rheumatiod Arthirtis.  Cheesy

bad news  Sad  torn rotary cuff in my shoulder, tendinitis and arthritis in shoulder and hip.

He gave me a shot in my shoulder  Shocked Shocked Shocked that hurt but if it takes away the pain I've been having in my shoulder for the last 6 months, then that's ok by me.
He said next visit he'll give me the shot in my hip and my knees too.  Shocked

Do I really want to go back  Huh  Roll Eyes Undecided    I don't know yet, we'll see.

I got one of those shots for my shoulder. It didn't seem to help me much. My wife though had those shots a number of times and they would help her for 2-3 months at a time. She finally had both knees replaced so she doesn't need the shots anymore.

My sister had a partial knee replacemnt done last year and she is worse off now than she was before she had the operation.  Sad

Some people don't take them very well and yet others are much better. My wife is not experiencing the pain that she did before but she is not able to move as well. She is a clutsy person and is always dropping things (she has always been like that). When she drops something now though someone else has do the picking up for her (usually me) and I have to be careful there is nothing she can trip on. If she goes down I can't get her back up by myself.
