The Ten Commandments

Matthew 5
17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
There are many that believe that the New Testament did away with the Old Testament and the Ten Commandments. Those that teach others that they are not relevent are teaching false doctrine. Jesus was indeed the fulfillment of the law but if you refuse His sacrifice for your sins, then you place yourself right under the consiquences of the Old Testament and the Ten Commandments. Those that teach political correctness have nothing but their own desires to see Gods word done away with to offer. But as you see, Jesus stated that not one word of the law will be done away with until heaven and earth has passed away.
Revelation 21
All Things Made New
1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John,[a] saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me,
“Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
6 And He said to me, “It is done![c] I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things,[d] and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving,[e] abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
The New Jerusalem
9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me[f] and talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”[g] 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy[h] Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. 12 Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west.
14 Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names
of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he who talked with me had a gold reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. 16 The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. 17 Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. 18 The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls: each individual gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
The Glory of the New Jerusalem
22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it,[j] for the glory[k] of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations of those who are saved[l] shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.[m] 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). 26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.[n] 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes
an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Hello darwin.I agree with you that not 1 word of the law shall be done away with in the Law,but most Christians are too into the thought that it is done away with(unfortunately).

i have broke a lot of commandments like take the lord's name in vain, not kept the holy day sabbath, i have not honored my motehr in my youth, i commiteed adultery, i have stolen, i beared false witness against thy neighbor and maybe a few others that i'm not aware of but i am trying hard now to keep them and ask to be forgiven for breaking those. i only pray that i be forgiven and try helping those who broke them to ask for forgiveness and to try and keep them.
for the longest time i have stolen money from my step dad and i cannot do it anymore. i am sickened from what i was doing by stealing from family and a friend. that is not a friend who steals from a friend for money. i am tired of satan always winning over me and i cannot allow this anymore. i feel i want to confess this to god and to everyone. i feel scared though to confess to my stepdad and friend because i don't ever wnat to lose their love for my sin and mistake i did. i let satan win by my dirty deeds ad now i gotta fight because my eternity depends on it. i finally fought satan the time i went to my mom's. i didn't steal nor did i even think twice of looking or going into their room. i keep telling myself that if i wnat to be a true follower of the lord then i have to stop breaking the laws and kept thinking about how it would feel if i spent eternity in hell and then thought about how it would feel if someone stold from me in which that has happened where 250 dollars was stolen from me and my hsuband one time and it wasn't nice. if i am low on money or broke then it's my fault because i over spent. i think to myself also that as much as i hate the devil then why do i let him win? why should i give him the benefit of a doubt to win over my soul when i hate him and want to make him so angry with me because i serve god. this is what i keep thinking about and will continue because it seems to help when i do. and it's not only stealing, it my anger that tunrs into rage. ladies and gentlemen i am guilty of homicidal thoughts and thinking of hurtingpeople when they make me angry and thats not right. latley i been on a praying kick and this is why i choose to start church and i chose to come to a religous forum so i can have support and positive influence when things like this happen along with praying. i been catching myself for the past week when my anger was coming to me. i would start yelling and thinking negative thoughts but then i turned around and thought this isn't christian of me and this is not what the lord wants and then it leaves and i calm down. it happen today also wher ei thought negative but they left because i knew in my heart it was wrong. so i feel i am doing way better then i have in hte last month to years.
