I am wondering what this particular image/symbol is.  I had never run across it before today, and am wondering what it is.  I have a few pictures of it:

It's the little thing that appears to be a wounded heart with thorns around it, and a burning cross on the top.  What is this?  What does it mean, or represent, or whatever?  What's its history?

Welcome to C.U. my friend!   Cheesy

I believe this is a symbol from Catholicism, and represents the "sacred heart" of Jesus.

It symbolises His sacrifice on the cross and the shedding of blood for the remission of sins.

I could be wrong, but that's my understanding.

It is a symbol used by some Catholics. The cross that Christ died on, the burning flame is the burning love that Christ has for all men, the crown for the crown of thorns that Christ wore on the cross.

From what I know, this symbol is from Catholic, and represents the "sacred heart" of Jesus. I believe, it stands for, his sacrifice on the cross and the shedding of blood for the remission of sins.

How do you link a photobucket account with a username on a forum?

If I was "stephanie767" on photobucket and there was a banned stephanie767 on here, that doesn't mean I'm the same person!

It's very easy to link from another user. The propteries can tell, where the pic comes from.

That's irrelevant.  My point is that if I have a username "dientamin" on photobucket, does it mean that I'm "dientamin" on the entire Internet, everywhere this name appears?

Edit:  thank you for helping answer my question!

If you sincerely desire an answer to what those pictures represent try this web site. It is the "Catholic Encyclopdia's" website for the description of what they deem, " devotion to the sacred heart of Jesus".
