I consider Liberal Christian Theology to be anything that is out of line with Standard Christian beliefs.  I strongly believe Liberal Christian Theology is hurting the believers and turning people away.

Someone that may be trying to get away and out of their current lifestyle may look towards Christianity for help and towards Jesus for Salvation, If they are running into people that dub themselves "Christians", but anything behave and speak anything but Christ-like, that is subtly saying "Christ can not save you".  Then what is the point of salvation or beliefs or trying to find The True joy?

A Church divided cannot stand.  There has been much speculation about the Next Pope (After Benedict 16th) is going to be out of line with Christian Theology and be the most Liberal Pope ever in Church history, that will cause the Roman Catholic church to divide.

This is only speculation... But it's already happening and has been happening in the Protestant Church.  "We will interupt the Teachings of Christ, God's Will and Word to fit our secular beliefs" is the wrong idea and is leading towards an apostasy.

I agree - look at the churches who have bent to the homosexual activists.

Do they believe John 3:16 with all their hearts?  For many, the answer is no.

Thank Jesus (GOD), His TRUE church is NOT divided.

You are correct.  It is wrong to attempt to bend the Word to accomodate sin.  Jesus will judge those who are guilty of distorting His Word.

God Bless!

AMEN JN!!

Look at Revelations 22:18-19  18 I [personally solemnly] warn everyone who listens to the statements of the prophecy [the predictions and the consolations and admonitions pertaining to them] in this book: If anyone shall add anything to them, God will add and lay upon him the plagues (the afflictions and the calamities) that are recorded and described in this book. 19 And if anyone cancels or takes away from the statements of the book of this prophecy [these predictions relating to Christ's kingdom and its speedy triumph, together with the consolations and admonitions or warnings pertaining to them], God will cancel and take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the city of holiness (purity and hallowedness), which are described and promised in this book.
