Greetings in Christ Jesus. I am a peace worker in the 19 years war devastated Northern Uganda. I am writing to ask to pray for the Children of Northern Uganda who have suffered the 19 years of conflict. This war has left over 20,000 innocent Children have been abducted since the war begun 19 years back, other hundreds of such children have died or been killed in rebel captivity. Young girls have been turned into sex slaves or wives to rebel soldiers, and young boys have been turned into rebel soldiers.
Besides, many Children have been left orphans their parents have been massacred by rebels. Such Children need alot of help. Many live in Internally displaced peoples camps, others have to treck to town every evening to find secure shelter in Children Centres in fear of rebel abductions. These Children walk as far as 17 kilometers everyday. You may visit our website at
