I don’t know if anyone here uses Spybot – but if you have popup problems you can’t seem to get rid of, it’s because spyware has been installed on your PC without your knowledge/permission.  Since I began using “Spybot Search & Destroy” my problems have almost completely disappeared.  I run the program about every 2-weeks, or when I have a noticeable problem.

It’s easy to use, easy to install, it’s FREE and it’s safe.  It is recommended by a lot of folks I’ve learned to trust over the years (PC Magazine, for one.)

If you’re interested, one of the many places you can download it is from here:

Just an FYI that could be a blessing!
God bless,

I have Spybot and really don't care much for it.  It never finds anything on my computer.  I quit using it.  It seems computers are as individual as humans. Grin

I used Spybot S&D for a long time. Then I tried out the Microsoft AntiSpyware and found that it caught a lot of spyware that Spybot didn't.

I am using hardware and software firewalls now for a bout a year as well as Firefox. I havn't had any spyware or virus attacks in that whole time.

You can never use enough programs to keep your PC running well.

I use Spybot and also AdAware and find they are excellent programs. One will normally pick up something that the other one may miss. Like Pastor Roger, i have also started to use microsofts anti spyware program and find its very good.

Of course, i use firefox for all my browsing and have my cookies selected to ask me every time, so when i come to do a scan it is very rare that i even have 1 tracking cookie.
