I finally decided to upgrade. I'm getting a Dell. It isn't my first choice of computers but I couldn't pass up the deal. I have a 500 MHz computer right now. The new one, which I will get in about a week, will be 2.40 GHz with 256MB DDR SDRAM at 400MHz, the hard drive is 80GB Ultra ATA/100 7200RPM Hard Drive, 48x CD-RW Drive, 17 inch E773 (16 inch viewable) Conventional CRT (but I am keeping my 19 inch monitor and selling the dell monitor to my oldest son), Dell A215 Speakers. There is no floppy with this as it has that new plug in digital module instead. (never used my floppy anyway)

I'm kinda excited as this will be my first completely new computer I've had since 1986.

Hey, congratulations on your new computer, PR.  Once you learn all about it, you can teach me. Wink Grin  I'm so computer un-savvy, still.  Sometimes, I wish they had never been developed. They're definitely a time taker upper.

Congrats Pastor Roger on your new PC. I am sure that when it arrives next week, you will have so much fun and will notice a diffrence in performance. Your new PC is similar in spec to mine although my PC is not a dell. Have fun with it brother.
