Clandestine Christianity -- Gospel Q&A in a Koran

by Chad Groening
June 13, 2005

(AgapePress) - The founder of a ministry dedicated to winning Muslims to Christ says she hopes to mass--produce a 100-page tract she has prepared that responds to the common questions Muslims ask about Christianity.

W.L. Cati heads up Florida-based Zennah Ministries. Cati believes the only way to ultimately to bring Islamic terrorism to an end is to win Muslims to Christ. That is why she has compiled a booklet she calls "For Muslims Only." She explains the tract's contents.

"It's basically the tenets of our [Christian] faith. Basically, it's made so the Muslims can understand where we're coming from because, when you start trying to speak to a Muslim, they start hitting you with these barrages of questions, one after another after another," Cati says.

"That's kind of their tactic, so you don't ever get a chance to answer anything because they've given you two dozen questions. So I've taken all those questions and broken them down, one at a time, and thoroughly answered each one of them."

She explains that she has written the tract on the faded pages of a surah in the Koran. "What I've done is put the pages on top of that; and to a Muslim, anything that's written on the Koran, they cannot throw away," the former Muslim says. "They may not ever read it -- I don't know; but maybe somebody will. We've had quite a few read it, and we've had quite a few salvations."

According to Cati, no one has complained about what some might construe as "desecration" of the Koran. "I haven't seen any [complaints] at all, because I think if they read the book they see that the book is written in love [and] not written in hate -- and it's not written in a form to offend anybody," she says. "It's simply saying: here's the questions you ask; I'm going to answer them; and I have written it on your Koran."

Cati says she is hopeful she can raise enough money to get the manuscript published and, therefore, have the opportunity to reach more Muslims with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
