Sad Sad, sad day to learn of the death of Terri Schiavo. Regardless of personal feelings about this situation, I just keep Terri's family and friends in prayer & even Michael in prayer. ((Lord, forgive them for they know not what they do))
I just hope that Terri had a personal relationship with the Lord before her death and hope she is spending her time now in glory with our savior Jesus Christ~

It's sad, yes, but I still say I hope my family would have the decency to just let me die.

Mat 7:9  Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Mat 7:10  Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
Mat 7:11  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Mat 7:12  Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

My heart and prayers goes out to this family.

I think this is like a bad joke on America...

Terri was responsive to a certain extent...all she really needed was a feeding tube, didn't even need oxygen...she had a family waiting (begging) to take care of her...her husband had been granted finances to help keep her alive...and yet the husband, the courts (and America's polled opinions) insisted she die?

 Huh

You know what really upsets me?  How come her husband still had guardianship over her??? HE LOST THAT RIGHT THE MOMENT HE COMMITTED ADULTRY WITH HIS LOVER!!!  Why didnt the courts see that? Why was it not brought up???
Because the United States Of America is on a fast track to hell...  people dont care anymore.
Im just so upset by all of this.  We have more respect for a dog, its illegal to starve a dog to death...but apparently its not illegal to starve an innocent woman.

A couple of years back a man in California got a $10,000 fine and six months in jail for shooting an owl with a sling-shot…

Not under the Constitution, which is what the courts use to decide their cases.

What portion of the Consititution do you believe covers this?

I don't think the Constitution covers it at all, but in a purely legal sense a husband has gaurdianship over his wife until he divorces her. U.S. law does not take Biblical law into account very much.

I still think what he did was wrong, though.
