Hi there Brian,  (hugs)

Welcome to CU.  Didn't check this thread until tonight.  It looks as if no one else checked today, either.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!  I'm so happy for you.  Do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?  The minute you accept and believe in Him and ask for His forgivness, you ARE forgiven.  His grace will forever be with you.  One still has to say no to certain things, and it ain't always easy, but be assured, He said He would never leave you or forsake you. He won't, count on it!!

I'm sure others will welcome you here, also.  We all get a bit behind at times.

Do you have a church you attend?  None of the churches are perfect, but you can worship and praise there, first and foremost.  Fellowship is second to that.  Someone will be able to guide you along the way here at CU.

Again, welcome aboard.

Thanks for the warm welcome Cris:

yes I am going to church this Sunday  Smiley I do struggle at times here ,but I pray to take the desire away and it always goes and I thank God for that.

i am learning not to put too much wait on my feelings as feelings come and go ,but God is always there for me.

like weight lifting there is that pull going the other way to develpe muscle , so I look at it when I get that pull going the other way and I resist then I will develope spiritual muscle. Thanks again, and please do keep in touch. your brother in Christ:  Brian

Thanks for the warm welcome my brothers and sisters in Christ. I have enjoyed the writings and all the quotes from the Bible.

I have read some of the topics and admire your strength in the Word.

Will join in where I can and just read where I need to.  Just learning my way around here.

Will remember this site in my prayers.

Brother Brian,

It's nice to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear about the computer problems. I think we've all been there, thanks to Bill Gates.   Cheesy

Brother, how are you doing otherwise? I've been praying for you and hope things are going good. It's one day at a time with JESUS for all of us, and HE loves to hear our prayers.

Love In Christ,
Tom

John 5:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

I start back to work on Wednesday and I have faith everything will be ok.

Its nice to be back and will keep you all informed. Ever since I have started to walk with the Lord I have had trials, that tells me that I am on the right track as satan now is concerned Grin Well will talk with you all later.

Brother Brian,

I will be praying that God gives the doctors skill in providing the best treatment possible for you. 3 monts clean and sober - GREAT!!! - Hang in there! The body also has many amazing abilities to heal and rebound when substances that destroy are stopped. Brother, I will also be praying this is exactly what happens.

Love In Christ,
Tom

John 14:16-18  And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
