To all the regular CU attendees...

I'm just curious -- who has been here the longest? I know people like Symphony and sincereheart have been here longer than me, but I also know that I'm probably one of the older members, despite my smaller post count. I've been here...close to three or four years now, no? It seems like it, anyway. Of course, there are members here that have been here just as long and longer, but never post on the forums I visit, such as the (now deleted) Creation vs. Evolution board and those in the same category as that one was.

I remember the site crash that resulted in my previous 1000+ posts being deleted.

I remember that my username used to be Japanese_Emperor, because I was in eighth grade then and I craved attention and couldn't find more subtle or mature ways to get it. Some would doubtless argue that nothing's changed there.

I remember being banned because I had acted like a silly, stupid preteen (no hard feelings), and then being brought back by popular demand. I'll admit it now, to anyone who remembers: I was wrong. I don't even remember why I was banned in the first place, though.

And I remember that house on---------St., in San Francisco, and my brother Nels and sister Dagmar, but most of all, I REMEMBER MAMA.

I know you don't know what I'm talking about Sapphire, but some of the oldsters here will know, unless, well, I hope someone does.

Anyone know what I'm referring to?  I gave ya a BIG clue.

I have the answer about who's been here the longest:

   ADMIN

There used to be user records, but much was lost in several major events, the hacking event probably being the worst one.

Even with all of the user records, many people have been on and off of the forum with different user names after the major events. I could be wrong, but I think that Sincereheart and Symphony have consistently used the same name, even after major system events.

Hi,
I have been at CU since August 29, 2002. I have used my name always. In August and September of 2002 there was a huge battle going on over the scripturalness of nudity and nakedness. It was amazing some of the things the nudist proponents were posting.

Thanks all of you for your input on the various topics. There is much knowledge in the Lord to share.

I remember thinking about remembering wanting to mention that I knew that earlier today, and then I remembered that I forgot to say it and that someone would, eventually.
