Christmas will be here before we know it. And when I think about Christmas, I am mindful of the wise men. We know they were exceedingly wise because they sought the Lord Jesus Christ to worship Him.

The wisest thing you could ever do is to worship Jesus. I hope you don't miss that! Now there are a lot of people who want the joys of Christmas without the worship of Jesus. Impossible! You may have a giddy time, but you're never going to know the joys of Christmas until you learn to worship the Lord Jesus Christ.

These wise men were so interested in worshipping Him that they came in spite of great difficulty, distance, discomfort, and even danger. Does worship mean that much to you, or do you have a take-it-or-leave-it attitude? If He's worth anything, He's worth everything. Yet, we let the slightest inconvenience stand in our way of worship. But, the wise men came to worship the Lord in spite of difficulty. What is Jesus worth to you?

We need to look past the tinsel, music, and food at Christmas and truly draw nigh to Jesus. We often see too much of the festival and not enough of the devotional.

One way to ensure against this is to make a priority of honoring the Lord Jesus. Many are looking for a way to bring Christ into Christmas, and I don't know of a better way than the Proclamation Ornaments. They are one of the greatest Christmas teaching tools that I've ever seen.

God bless you and your family as you worship the Lord Jesus this Christmas.
