God revealed this to me last night. We know that the NT Messanic Apostles borrowed heavenly from the Torah to reveal the fulfillment of Yeshua in the New Covenant.

It is awesome how the Holy Spirit works through the Apostles and how accurate the Holy Spirit works through Paul and how well versed he was in the Torah.

 The Septuagint

Isaiah 59:17, verse 17 And He put on righteousness as a breast-plate and placed the helmet of salvation on his head and he clothed himself with the garment of vengeance and with his cloak as one about to render a recompence even reproach to His adversaries.

Verse 16, And the Lord saw it and it pleased Him not that there was no judgment. And he looked and there was no man and He observed and there was none to help so HE defended them with His arm of and stablished them with His mercy.

The Reformation Study Bible The New King James

Ephesians 6:13-17 Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand.

Stand therefore having girded your waist with truth having put on the breastplate of righteousness and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace above all taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit being watchful to this end with all perserverance and supplication for all the saints- etc....

I pray this will be helpful to everyone in further Study in Scripture.

Michael
