Number one at the box office over the weekend with an estimated $40 million.

I saw it on the very first showing at my theater on opening day; I liked it.

From what I've read, it's a typical horror flick with a lot of really creepy moments, etc. It got some decent reviews. It looks perfectly intriguing to me, but I probably won't see it. Horror movies aren't my thing.

I saw it last week i agree it did have some jumpy parts in it but what was fascinating in the spiritual aspect of the movie was it showed how demons have territorial rights through anger and murder as was the case in the movie.

I saw the original Japanese version.  It is interesting to compare the differences.

Different cultures all have belief in evil.  Sometimes it comes from outside, sometimes from within a person.   Very, very interesting.
