I wish you
I wish you a day of ordinary miracles----
A fresh pot of coffee
you didn't make yourself.
An unexpected phone call
from an old friend.
Green stoplights on your
way to work or shop.
I wish you a day of
little things to rejoice in...
The fastest line at the grocery store.
A good sing along song on the radio.
Your keys right where you look.
I wish you a day of
happiness and perfection--
I wish you little bite-size pieces of perfection that give you the
funny
feeling that the Lord is smiling on you, holding you so gently because
you
are someone special and rare.
I wish You a day of Peace,
Happiness and Joy.

That would be nice if it were original. As it is, I've heard those kind of things pretty much my whole life. Gets kinda dull. Tongue

Well, my kind of day involves lots of thunder and lightning and trees falling over and stuff blowing up. (as long as nobody's hurt  Tongue)

I also like days where it's raining and sunny at the same time. That's happened to me once. It's really cool.

Ooh! I LOVE wild weather! I'm always getting in trouble for going outside in it! 'Cept for when there's lightning, of course! I am supposed to set a good example, afterall!  Lips Sealed

Raining and sunny is awesome, too! Used to happen in Hawaii a lot! Along with double rainbows!  Cheesy

We had a big storm last year that blew over a huge walnut tree in our yard. Then later we had a HUGE tree that was forked and the forks split. One side went down and came near the house, and then later when we were clearing away some of the brush the other side came down and got hung up in a tree on the other side of the driveway and we ended up with a big canopy over our driveway. Somehow we managed to get everything cleared away in a few weeks and it looks fine now. It was really fun, though. Tongue

LOL Being an avid storm chaser, I actually search for days like this (with the exception of things blowing up of course).   Absolutely love storms!

Grace and Peace!

What a drenching we had here in the thumb of Michigan last Saturday...the day started out warm, with just a little misty rain...by midmorning there was a downpour, the pens and yards at the ranch were flooded (they had been dry just a few hours before!) At first it was fun, just being out in the rain, being amazed as I always am at the sky's surprise. I sang all the rain songs I know. (Just two or three, actually.)

Then I just got cold and wet and started hiding whenever it came time to walk out in it again, lol! It was so nice to come home and dry off, and watch the rain from my cozy room!
