Yes I knwo I'm underage by a couple weeks. No, I wasn't drinking alcohol last night.

Don't get this energy drink called red bull. I swear it must've been sent by the devil to torment us. Unfortunately I required a quick caffeine boost to stay up last night and red bull was the only option I had. hence. one bottle of red eye has given me a headache. I wish I could'e had a bottle of red eye instead.

ANYWAYS, because this is a christian forum and also a computer section I'll get back on topic Tongue

Does anyone here know how to make up webpages and make them look pretty, all using notepad. I use xhtml strict v1.0 and css (I dunno if they have versions o_O.

Currently my page looks really dodgy. anyone wanna help out?

Hello Ralph,

Grin  You had me worried there for a minute. I've never heard of Red Bull, but I do drink coffee.

I do web pages with a regular HTML editor. Give me an idea about what you are wanting to do. If it is something as simple as adding a background color, changing fonts, etc., I could probably give you some very basic HTML code that would be compatible with everything, and you could just insert the text you want in a very simple template I could make for you.

There are really quite a few HTML code samples that are completely compatible with everything. It really depends upon what you want to do.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Hehe, I'm glad I worried someone Tongue But yeah. basic html isn't really what I was looking for. As it is I have the basic structure of my site done. I just have to make it look pretty. And that isn't very easy to do using notepad. I'm using a bit of CSS so far so that I can position things and make them look good. but I can only do the bare minimum of it. And I don't wanna use a template because I find it hard to trust that it will be valid xhtml 1.0 strict ^_^

As for red bull.. it's evil stuff that is.
Here's the US site for it (I think) http://www.redbullusa.com/
The stuff that makes it goes are as follows (this is in a 330mL bottle):
Taurine - 1320 mg
Glucoronolactone - 792 mg
Caffeine - 106 mg
Inositol - 66 mg
Niacinamide - 26.4 mg
Pantothenic Acid - 6.6 mg
Vitamin B6 - 6.6 mg
Vitamin B12 6.6 mcg

I think it's all that taurine that makes my body hate red bull :S
Anyways that's the last time I stay up till 3am waiting for a girl to come over so I can talk to her for maybe 15 minutes... and she doesn't show up Sad
I ended up watching the italian job while waiting for her. went to bed at 3am, woke up at 6:30am *stabs body clock* and it's now 7:40am.

Thanks anyways for the offer of help. it's not exactly what I'm looking for sorry.

Hello,

Can you show us what you have so far? This is not my area
of expertise, but I might be able to help out also. Are you
looking at just HTML or do you want something more, like php,
asp, asp.net? Send me what you want and I can get you
started.

but yeah. I have the CSS set up. I just need to decide on a colour scheme and make the things actually look decent.

Red Bull has a caffiene content of 107Mg per 330mL I think... Which is the same as red eye. the thing with red bull has though, is an extremely high taurine content which gives your muscles energy apparently. so yeah. I think it's that high taurine content (somewhere around 1400mg) that was making me sick.
