Ok.

I  need  some  " MAN"  advice.  Yeah,  I'm a  guy.  A  6'1,  black  guy in  Boston.   19 years  old.  College  undergrad.

I  met  this  girl  named  Wendy  a  couple  of  weeks  ago.   She is tall and  cute  and all.  She  is  always  friendly  to  me.  I thought she was just  being  friendly.  Today,  I  think  she might  like me.   She  walked  with me to  class  and seemed real  reluctant  to let  me  go.  Also, we  went   to  the  library  and  she   told  me  that  I  had  lost  my  Disk.   I  did  !!!  I  didnt  even  notice.   She  told me  she  found  it  and gave it  to the librarian  so  I  could  have  it.   Talk  about  helpful  !!!

We  went  to   the  computers  and  she  made me take a  Love  Compatibility  quiz  online.   Our  horoscopes  and  names.   It  seemed we  were  a  88  percent  match.   She  was  so  happy !!!   Again,  she  was  real  reluctant  to  let  me  go  and  I  ended  up  being  almost  late  to  class.   She  asked me where  I was  gonna  be  tomorrow  and  I  said  I'd  see  her  tomorrow  and  she  seemed  reluctant  to  part  with  me.

She's funny  and  kind  of  cute  and  I  am  single  and....celibate.  Very  celibate.   Too  celibate.  After my  last fiasco with a  female,  I  wanted  time  to  heal  my  heart  and
meet a  decent  woman  the next time.   I  just recently  emerged  from a  period  of  confusion  over my  true self (psychologically,  spiritually, sexually) I  have  made  my  peace  with  myself.

Still,  it's  women  that  I  find  myself  drawn  to  emotionally  and  physically...most  of the time...so  I  desire  a  good  woman  to  be  by  my  side.

Does  this   girl  like  me  ?  What  do  you  think  ?

Hi,

Look, all the information anyone here has on Wendy is what you just provided, does she like you....well, it sounds like it based on what you say.  Should she, from what you say, I would say no.

You say you are too celibate, what in the world is that?  Sex is exclusively for marriage.   See that period at the end of the sentence, it is the end of the story.

If you ever expect to have the relationship you really want with this girl, you better work on yourself.  Quit taking shortcuts.

Have you given your life to Jesus?
What does that mean to you?
Why, if you have, does it sound as though your hope for you and this girl is decidely non-Christian.  Sounds like you have already been sexual with at least one other woman.  Have you been checked for sexually transmitted diseases?  Don't assume anything.

You want steak, and you expect her to settle for dogfood.

Now go, and sin no more.

Another thing you need to look at in terms of your professing to be a Christian is this... Why would you let this girl get you to take a love compatibility test that involves horroscopes? Horroscopes are totally a no go. Is this girl a Christian? If not, you must remember that God says to be equally yoked with (together with) someone who also believes in God. Also, like Marv said, it sounds as if you are ready to get involved sexually with this girl. Sex is only for marriage. No ifs ands or buts about it.

I suggest you read your Bible and get on your knees and pray over this until you get a clear answer from God on how to proceed or if even you should proceed. I'm not trying to speak for the Lord, but from the sounds of it, this relationship is only going to go one way, and it isn't the way you want to go if you truly want a relationship with God.

In His service,
Robert

Gotta agree with Marv and Robert. Your motivation sounds way out of whack. We must never forget that all our actions carry accountability to God and God has definite parameters for a premarital relationship. Those parameters do not involve sex and horoscopes. Watch your step.

Yes, it sounds like she likes you.

Of course that might be a bias cause you are giving us limited information.

Blackmanx,

Let Jesus work on your loneliness.  It appears that you were longingly looking at her than she did!  It is natural and common at this age.  My suggestion would be that you brush this off and move on with other things.

As rightly pointed out try answering the questions Marv has put forth.
When you have accepted Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit will dwell in you and will lead and guide you in any situation of life.

And you will not always look for an easy way out.

A word from the Wise. Stay away from horoscopes, no matter how cute she is!
