Hi there King911, thats awesome you can speak in tongues.... I can speak in tongues as well... When i accepted Christ at the age of 12 the Holy Spirit, came into me and not only did house cleaning spiritually but that i could speak a language God only knows. I praise God that His gifts are still for all generations and that they never ceased at the day of Acts.

The "tongues" are a wonderful and powerful prayer gift, the  true ability to speak and the very utterance being soley that  of the Holy Spirit, not of ourselves,  and yes the Spirit within me has  prayed inumerable times when I did not know what to pray for.

Nope sure can't speak in tongues. Tis not my gift. I am filled with the Holy Spirit mind you, but tongues isn't one of my gifts...and just a word of warning to those who may be thinking that because i don't speak in tongues...re-read 1 Corinthians 12:4-12 and Ephesians 4:8-12...not all have the same gifts. and tongues are a sign to the unbeliever...not the believer. So that's that I don't speak in tongues...it's simply not my gift...take it as you wish...have a good night and God Bless

In His Service,
Joshua

best thought to keep it short as not to provoke debate..have a good one ya'll
