Hey y'all!  I joined the forum last spring, but I haven't posted anything in a while, and I just wanted to give an update.  I started my second year at the junior college last month, and everything is going pretty good so far.  One of the things that I did during the summer was that I went on youth choir tour around my state and it was soooo cool and totally awesome, that it's beyond words.  All I can say is that it was the coolest thing I've ever done.  (If you want to read more about my experience, please go to "What Are You Doing" and read my post called "what I did this summer".)  I also have some questions.  Is anyone out really shy like me?  I would like to know if there is because it sort of helps me to be able to relate to others who are really shy cause I know how they feel.  (I'm not as shy as I used to be, and I think it's cause my doctor gave me some medicine that has really helped, but I'm still pretty shy, though.)  Also, how do I figure out what the Lord wants me to do with my life?  Any suggestions on what I can do?  Cause like I stated above, I'm in my second year in college.  I was gonna major in computer programming, but then I took programming last spring, and now I'm taking COBOL (a computer language) and I've decided that programming is definitely not for me.  So I would like to stay in computers, but what if the Lord doesn't want me to be in computers?  I would really like to have a career that would allow me to do something that I'm interested in, or a hobby or something that I like to do, but I don't know how to find out what those careers would be.  (Searching online doen's really help that much.)  Does anybody have any suggestions?  Your feedback is really appreciated.

Oklahoma Howdy to twinkledust007,

WELCOME BACK!!! I'm glad to hear that things are going so well for you in school. Reference searching for the occupation that will make you happy, everyone goes through that. That's a difficult time in anyone's life. There are all kinds of tests that you could take to determine your aptitude for various fields, but they probably wouldn't answer the big question - What will make you happy? I would tell you to take your time and pray about it.

I hope this helps some.

Love In Christ,
Tom
